I purchased a 2015 GMC Acadia from ******** **** and Argyll Auto did the inspection on the car. I received the car and it drove funny and found a broken shock that with the rust had been broken a while. Went to address the issue with the company and they said I did it, only owning the vehicle for 400km. I wasn’t happy with their inspection and brought it to another mechanic and he said that there’s no way the vehicle in question would have passed a vehicle inspection. Rotors were grooved so bad. The owner of ******** **** did what he could by giving me $200 towards new rotors cause he could see that the rotors were shot just by looking at them.
The second mechanic stated that the vehicle wouldn’t pass an inspection noting that the tie rods and ball joint needed replacing to make it road worthy as well as rotors and brakes. The vehicle still needs more work but at least it’s safe to drive now.
I paid $1797.04 just to get it to that point.
I phoned Argyll Auto to see if we could come to some sort of agreement and the receptionist said they do whatever they need to do to pass the inspection and hung up on me.

experience with the 2015 GMC Acadia you purchased from ******** ****. We
regret to hear about the issues you have encountered and understand
your concerns about the vehicle's condition and the inspection it

the required safety standards and regulations. We take your feedback
seriously and would like to investigate this matter further to

A copy of the inspection report from 2nd licenced mechanic.
Detailed findings from the second mechanic who inspected your vehicle & all the parts that have been changed.
Any other relevant documents or receipts pertaining to the repairs made.
We apologize for any inconvenience caused during your phone conversation
with our receptionist but she had another customer calls to answer at the same time. Customer service is a top priority for us, and
we will be addressing this internally to ensure better communication in
    the future.

We are committed to resolving this matter amicably and ensuring that you
feel confident in the safety and quality of your vehicle. Please send
the requested documents to ********************** at your earliest convenience. Once we have reviewed all the
