In July 2023, I purchased five boxed kits, five corking packages and 1 Carbonate. The owner, not I, mixed them, which is illegal. I was unaware they had been mixed. The owner did not have permission to mix the wine. I was not notified of any issues with my order until February 2024 I purchased 5 wine kits, 5 corking kits and 1 carbonate service. Two went rancid (required replacement);- I received one replacement for the Cab Zinfandel, which is waiting to be bottled. 1- Aprs has NOT been replaced and needs to be refunded. Two wines I did not receive - I require a refund for two I did not receive: mix or bottle the **** Gris and the Valpolicia. (*** tried to offer me a ************* that was in his shop, which had been mixed - as a replacement, it is very odd he is offering me someone elses wine as a replacement for one I do not need a replacement)One wine was supposed to be carbonated. The carbonate charge should be refunded. (for the Viognier)I used 2 corking kits. 3 have not been used. The owner wants me to pay additional charges for replacement and storage. 2 had to be replaced, and 2 I did not receive. No additional charges would be required if the owner had not mixed the wine. It was mixed without my permission or knowledge.Dec 2023, I purchased and mixed one wine kit and corking kits; it is ready now. *** will not let me bottle this. The owner will not let me into the store or provide the goods and services I paid for; hence, I require a refund.Wine Kitz should not have mixed my wine. I should not be expected to pay storage or replacement fees or be out of pocket for wine I did not mix. I require a refund for five kits, five corking packages, a carbonate service, and 36 (empty) bottles of rancid wine left at the store. This equates to approximately $1200.00.

    Hi,

    This woman is unhinged.
We had negotiated a deal, but she continues to argue with me, claims that our policies don't apply to her, and refuses to pay her outstanding invoice.  We've fired her as a client.

Here is an online review from one of her students:
This is for a class **** teaches at SAIT. **** is honestly one of the worst instructors I've had. She doesn't seem to care, and she doesn't teach anything in the class. Instructions for assignments are unclear, and the quizzes cover material not in the textbook. She is not helpful when you request help, and she does not grade assignments fairly.

We are willing to offer her the two kits that are ready, and 2 replacement kits. that she will need to process at home, or at another facility.

    ---
    Cheers,

As a follow up to my previous email, this woman is asking for a $1200 refund for an original order of $950.  She has one of the wine kits, another is here for her to bottle. So, 2 out of 5 wine kits, but she wants 125% refund, even though her account has an outstanding balance.

    She is loopy!

Hello I have been forbidden to go into the shop to retrieve the wine waiting to be bottled and I do not have any outstanding debts.

I am rejecting this response because I do not have an outstanding balance, the owner will not permit me onto the premises to retrieve my products. The owner ruined my products. I expect a refund as outlined in my complaint. I have two orders that I have not received.

    Sincerely,

On May 1 at 12:39 pm we sent **** the link to book her bottling appointment for her wine kits.  We've yet to hear back from her.  The wines that she returned taste exactly as indicated by the tasting notes provided by our supplier.  They were indeed NOT "Ruined" as she claims.

We've made several attempts to resolve this matter, she she continues to be verbally combative.

As you'll see from the attached invoice, her wines were ready to bottle on February 16, 2024. There should be a storage fee associated with the two kits that are here for her.  We will waive these fees, in order to resolve this matter.  Once she bottles these two kits, the transaction will be complete, and she will not be permitted to return to the store.

    Sincerely,

    Wine Kitz

    Complaint: 21499125

I am rejecting this response because:

The wine was off, a fact confirmed by the employee the day I returned them. I find it hard to believe that a supplier tasted/tested my ruined wine.
I do not have any storage fees. The wine was made by the owner, not by me, so it is impossible to charge me for storage fees. He made the wine without my permission. I did not make the wine and leave it to be stored. The wine would not need to be stored if he had not made it. Therefore, he is waiving the storage fees for the wine he made.

I purchased six kits and received one good batch of wine. The owner owes me five kits. I mixed 2 of these: one was a replacement, and the other was a new order.
Hence, if I bottle these two wine kits at the store, he still owes me for three kits he mixed and ruined, which I did not receive.
Again, there would be no issues or any dispute if the owner had not mixed my wine, which breaches the ************* The owner should not have mixed my wine. I do not have any outstanding charges for the wine he mixed.

I am not continuously sending offensive or aggressive emails; the owner did. My emails have been courteous and statements of facts. I have not misrepresented the case.
The owner made it very clear that I was not permitted into the store to bottle any wine. The bottling link had no information in the email to tell me why it was being sent. Given that we were in a dispute and the owner's last message to me was to never enter the store again, I thought it was a prank.

What's more, given his alarming and aggressive emails, I am afraid for my well-being and would need security. The last response from the owner, which stated that I could not enter the store, was deeply concerning. I then filed the complaint.

    Sincerely,
