I was sold a vehicle in August with a fake AMVIC report. Recieved nothing but problems with the vehicle asked to repair, they repaired one item and ignored the others. I took it to a dealership for an inspection which it failed three times over. stampede auto has failed to repair the damages from the car they sold broken.

    Customer Answer

Yes it was a used vehicle. I have a warranty but it does not cover the work not done before giving me the vehicle, and failure to provide me with a safety certified vehicle voids the warranty, it had been escalated with an AMVIC investigator as well.

We bought a ******** CLS from Stampede Auto on Saturday March 30th.We are out of town buyers and we were told that the car had a full inspection and that it ran perfectly, everything on it was beautiful and that we would be good to go. I literally asked over five times via phone/text.Only after signing the paperwork as we went out to the car, we were we told it had a check engine light. Not to worry though. It also had break pad wear sensor warnings. Also the tank was below empty. There were no floormats at all. There were over 15 names in the bluetooth /phone, meaning everyone was out bagging on the car before I bought it. Having been assured the car was looked after and it would go away after a recall(that doesn't exist) I left for the drive home.It drove ok until about 8 minutes later accelerating onto the highway where it all of a sudden proceeded to shake violently, the engine light on, every warning came up on the dash, and the car went Into limp mode.I pulled over to restart the car, my wife having gotten far ahead of me on the highway and proceeded to drive off. I could only barely accelerate and the car was shaking and sputtering /misfiring.Upon limping the car home on cruise control I immediately ran the codes on my scanner to find a malfunctioning pedal sensor which could have killed someone, as well as 11 other codes involving lean fuel banks, and cylinder misfires etc.All four tires were at 23 to 26 psi also very dangerously underflated. Also there was clearly more damage redone on the car then they told me. Now they refuse to help. Nothing but 2 texts. No return phone call.

I purchased a vehicle online for delivery on march 2, 2023. I was reassured by the salesperson the vehicle was a good vehicle. I received an inspection report from november, 2022 and was advised the inspection was valid for 120 days and there were no issues with the car. I flew from ******** to ******* and the vehicle was dropped off at airport. I drove 12 minutes down the road and the check engine light came on. I messaged the salesperson immediately but got no response. I had a 7 hour drive home and couldnt wait any longer (it was after hours so they were closed). I hit a snowstorm on way home and the vehicle was handling well. I discovered no windshield fluid in vehicle which was dangerous for driving and tires only at 25psi. No gas stations open. I then discovered transmission slips between gears, a crack in windshield, crack in drivers door window, a non operational rear wiper, a battery that wouldnt hold a charge, engine coolant overflow empty, oil change warning light on, backup camera intermittenly works and dash display does not shut off. I contacted dealership right away (24 hours since delivery) and received no service. I advised dealership i would be returning vehicle and have been ignored despite calling, messaging and emailing consistently since march. ***** wont help me either. The dealership misrepresented the vehicle and delivered it with all the issues and wont do the right thing by taking vehicle back. I also have confirmation from finance company confirming they would cancel loan without penalty and dealership didnt believe me and refused to accept written confitmation from bank. I am stuck with a defective vehicle that they delivered to me and will cost thousands to repair the issues. I want them to take back the piece of c*** they lied about and misrepresented like im *********** do for a year now. Im being told the vehicle is only worth $5800 now because of issues and i owe $14,000 on the loan. They screwed me and dont care that they did

We bought a used car from stampedeauto and were told it passed an out of province inspection with flying colors . One exception was tha air conditioning needed recharge. That took 4 trips back and forth to the dealership to finally get fixed. Then we noticed there was no antifreeze in the reservoir. They refused to fix it saying it was are problem. We took it to a mechanic shop and come to find out the right front wheel bearing is totally worn, the rear rotors are past 50 % and rusted out and the transmission line and housing unit is leaking. The estimated repairs are close to 3500$ . We have put on 500 to 700 kilometers in finding out these problems as we only drove to wotk and back. All these defects came unannounced to us . Like i said we were told that everything was in great working condition which it is not. The business is refusing to help fix any issues and the salesman ******** **** about the whole thing stating it was in excellent condition.

I bought a Vehicle from Stampede Auto *******....The Advertisement for the Vehicle: 2010 Ford Explorer "219,000" kms.In Actuality the Explorer had "266,000"km. He ************ sold me a Vehicle with the Odometer ... Rolled Back....The Salesperson drove it during the test drive so I wasn't able to read the Odometer. He also drove it to my Home. The Odometer wasn't noticed until I drove it.It sat in MY garage without anyone driving it until *** ******.I drove the Vehicle straight to my Garage, it just didn't feel/sound right. The Mechanic came for a ride with me, diagnosising the Rear Differencal is going....In the 2 weeks I have driven it ****. The back Hatch fell off onto my neck.2. Gas Leak under the Vehicle 3. The Engine light is On. Needs a Oil Change 4. The Amount of gas doesn't register, stays on 1/4 all of the time.5. Vehicle History says it has been in ONE Accident, it has been 2 6. The Vehicle has been written off/SALVAGE was not brought to my attention. If so I would Not have bought it....I had to return back there a week later for Car Mats....The Matter of the Odometer, Salvage, and Gas issue I brought up to him.Explanation: (***/manager)There had been a Explorer on the Lot. The one that had 219 000 kms had been sold so he gave me the one with 266,000kms. I would Not have bought a Vehicle with 266,000 kms. (The advertised Explorer I bought is still up/active. **** **** **** ******** ** ****** ** **** *******  *** stated he had 3/4 more on the Lot).2. Never was it brought to my attention that the Explorer was Salvage until the day I had mentioned I went back for the Mats. *** said it was Rebuild Status without me knowing.3. When putting Gas in the Tank it runs out from Under the Car. The Hoses, metal, and most of the other Pipes/Hoses are RUSTED. 4. Exhaust Pipe has a hole or more in it.I was back to see my Mechanic he said "DONT Drive it", something else is going to happen.I have asked for a Refund right after I bought it. NO

Please see the signed bill of sale for ***********************. The vehicle was mistakenly advertised with the wrong kms. Our new marketing coordinator made a mistake and therefore when ***** came in we made sure she was well aware of the error and got her to sign and initial the correct kms on the Bill of sale. We also disclosed to her that this vehicle is a mechanical special which means it has some issues. She signed and initialled on all this information and was fully aware of the kms and condition on the car.

Feb 27, 2023, i bought a 2010 F150 from Stampede Auto for $11,000.00 cash (by bank draft). They gave me the full inspection report that noted everything was in compliance and included notes regarding the air bag light, a slight vibration and a knocking sound in the dash. I took the vehicle home and then to my own registered mechanic. The report from my mechanic was much different. He noted that the drive shaft was not bolted on properly, and many other items that made the vehicle unsafe to drive and it did not pass his inspection. my complaint is that they provided me with incorrect information that would have affected our decision to purchase the vehicle ** **** ** *** ** **** ** ****** ** ******* ** ** ***** *******. We contacted the dealership about this and they said that it was final sale and that I was aware of the flaws in the vehicle. I relied on their inspection report, which was completed by a licensed mechanic. We would like to be reimbursed for cost of the repairs to make it road worthy. we should have that estimate in hand later today or early tomorrow. I do not trust their mechanic to make the necessary repairs at no cost.
