Our house was re-roofed in September,2020 at a cost of $*****. Throughout the winter, whenever the bathroom vent was turned on, water was leaking from the bathroom ceiling. Upon further investigation, we found the bathroom vent duct was never connected back to the roof vent, when the new vent was installed. The vent adapter was missing. Bathroom duct was not connected. It resulted in attic condensation every time the bathroom vent was turned on. Water was dripping off the ceiling, Insulation was wet, Ceiling was wet. Mould *** have or would have formed, if not fixed .I called and emailed ************************* of Superior roofing in February,2021 about the vent issue. Multiple text messages and phone calls has been sent to ************************* in the last 7 months, problem is still not fixed.Customer response

Contract date for re-roof of our home dated May 31 2017 with Superior Roofing cost $5370 +GST.Work done June ****** Year workmanship warranty promised by business.Leak developed - water seeping in garage wall Fall 2020.We engaged a building envelope company to investigate, they informed us roof was not to code.I messaged **** on Dec 2 2020 about problem.On Dec 8 **** messaged me to say they would replace the valley over the garage.We engaged a roof inspector to do a full report, this was emailed to **** on Mar 4 2021 detailing multiple faults with re-roof installation. Roof inspector agreed to oversee repairs.April 13 **** messaged me to say he would have a look and reach out to roof inspector.June 30 **** messaged to say repairs would be completed in 4-6 weeks.I messaged **** for update on Aug 12, no reply yet.Email from roof inspector on 18 Aug states he has not heard from ****.Allowing for delays due to weather and COVID, I feel **** is deliberately delaying repairs.Business response

We have reached out to the client, are working with the roofing consultant and we met onsite today September 3rd, 2021 to assess what needs to be done, and commenced the repairs. Tell us why here...Customer response
