  We found our dealings with ALR to be deficient in numerous ways and will never be recommending the company to anyone.After receiving an estimate and giving a 50% deposit in June, 2022, it became difficult to communicate with ALR. ***** went unanswered. When we were finally able to establish communications, there was confusion over the estimate amount agreed upon, with the representative accessing an estimate with a different file number, a different date, and a different amount than our copy.We requested multiple times that we be informed ahead of time when the materials delivery of material and the installation by ALR would occur. We were never informed in advance of either.Equipment, worker clothing, and tools were placed on our neighbours lawn. Tools and equipment were dumped in one of our flower beds and dropped on our deck, an action putting the glass panels of the deck at risk. Loud music was played by the crew throughout and at the end of installation, cleanup was not thorough.A week after completion, we received TWO invoices from ALR, both with the same invoice number, but for DIFFERING AMOUNTS and with one due upon completion and the other due November 10th. This necessitated another round of telephone tag with ALR to confirm the amount and date of payment. Do not use this company.

We regret any discrepancies that occurred because of your misunderstandings and any inconvenience they may have caused. We assure you that it was never our intention to mislead or confuse you. Our team would have been more than willing to provide clarification and resolve any misunderstandings had we been given the opportunity to do so. We hold our team members to high standards of professionalism and respect for our customers' properties. We regret any disturbance caused by loud music played by the crew during the installation and remind our team members of the importance of respecting the tranquillity of the surroundings and minimizing any disruptions during their work. The task of manual labour is often gruelling so we apologize for their attempt to a more uplifting environment that was an inconvenience for your day-to-day. We will review our cleanup procedures and reinforce our expectations with our installation teams to ensure that thorough cleanup is consistently performed
