      Terrible place to stay, and even worse place to live. A new manager recently took over before I moved in, and took over what is clearly a massive list of issues that he wasn't prepared for. I feel bad for him, but at the end of the day, I'm the one paying a ridiculous $1,200 a month to stay in this dump.The bugs in this apartment are atrocious, and it's downright stupid that I have to take the time out of my days to take everything out of my apartment to do the joke they call "pest control". Done it three times, no ************* if that wasn't enough, add on the fact the washing machines break at least once a month, and the fact in the last few months you couldn't exit or enter through the front door a couple times. Huge fire hazard! If I'm not going to get sick from the bugs, or get bit from the bed bugs, I'm going to burn alive in this h*** hole because someone from maintenance decided to take the door handle off.After trying to get through to someone for months in regards to my issues in this apartment, I'm still left without any answers and solutions, but I'm left with even more problems.I think the worst part was my manager admitted to me HE KNEW of the pest problem within the building BEFORE I MOVED IN without disclosing to me. So if you read this before moving in, take this as your warning of bedbugs, cockroaches, and all sorts of bugs crawling all through the apartment because you sure as h*** won't hear it from *********************** your research, stay the h*** away from this apartment, and this company.

      * ********** ********** ************ *** ** ********** ** *** **** **** ***** ********** Repairs for basic services often take weeks many fire hazards especially at ******************************************. Also bed bug issue at this building that is ignored. There are several empty units that they are not even trying to rent, remember thats in a city with less than 1% vacancy. This is so they can rent to immigrants and have guaranteed government money.. while paying Canadian renters are squeezed out. ******** *** ********** ******** *** *********** Substandard, filthy and dangerous the building.

      My experience with Mainstreet Equity has been extremely disappointing. Here are some key issues I've faced:Employees often misrepresent unit prices to secure lease signatures, only to raise the price up to $1,000 after the lease is signed.Units are outdated and unsafe, with poor electrical and plumbing systems, and appliances from the 1970s-1980s.Washer and dryer appliances are frequently broken, with repairs delayed indefinitely, breaching the rental agreement.Many buildings are infested with cockroaches or bedbugs, and Mainstreet fails to hire professionals to address these issues.Employees are unprofessional, untrained, and lack accountability, often blaming tenants for problems.Given these ongoing issues, I strongly advise against renting from Mainstreet Equity. Their primary interest appears to be profit, not the quality of life for their tenants.

      Bad service, rude and unhelpful stuff, they do not get to a compromise in case of conflict, in their buildings always you find cockroaches, noise, drag people and homeless, the make your life as a ****, horrible a company. I had the worst experience in my life in ******

      absolute garbage rental agency. treat their tenants with disrespect, filthy apartments, cockroaches, crackheads. ONE washer and ONE dryer to an entire building. then half the time you cant even get into the office to load the laundry card, which is also $25 to replace if you lose it. I live in Mainstreet park ********. don't ever rent here. sure its cheap but you definitely get what you paid for. i will never live in a mainstreet owned building again.

      Rachandeep from maintenance at ETAIN did a wonderful job in fixing our different issues in apartment. No revisit, completed in one visit. Thank you for prompt response. Good job!!

      Honestly I have had nothing but problems with having anything fixed!!!! But today tops and all new low for them......I was given a violation for smoking in my unit because a cigarette **** fell out 9f my pocket lol I know it sounds stupid but I'm serous! No butter anywhere else in my unit no ashtrays nothing just the one that fell out of my pocket

      I contacted Mainstreet Equity multiple times for maintenance regarding the issue with the flooring (the cracks, air pockets and missing floor panels), the wall in the bathroom (the condensation came through the walls by the light switch and became hazardous. Water would leak in the summer and then freezes in the winter), bedroom (terrible painting jobs), and kitchen (cracks on the kitchen counter). And they never came to fix the problem! Instead, they said well do it later, or they wont fix the problem and say theres nothing wrong. I recorded all the docs and I wish I can post these pics here but theres nowhere to upload the images. When I finally left the building with my boyfriend, I gave them all the evidence I managed to get my deposit back. However, they withdrawal another money from my account although I left the property in time as a law abiding citizen/resident. Communication and customer service is and now currently is terrible. Why would I have to go them in person a couple times to show them my bank statement and argue with them to reimburse the money plus the deposit back to my account?!? I have to say, the company is terrible and doesnt communicate with tenants at all. The only thing they enjoy is having a tub of cash *** **** *** *** ******* ******* ** ***** ***

      Poor safety practices, no respect for tenants, putting the health, safety, lives at risk, endangering tenant!
