    First Service had sent contractors to do repairs and they had shutdown the water. After that my condo had no heat. I submitted request on January 18th to find out whether they had shut off the heat and that my unit is cold. I received a standard response, but no one came to fix my heat. I kept calling and emailing, but nothing was done. I resubmitted a request and I was informed that someone would come to look at it. Till February 20th I was without heat, and someone did come and just turned the valve with his two fingers and my heat was on. He hardly spent 5 minutes to do that. Now I am billed $183 for repair cost and $52.50 administration fee of First Service. I am surprised that their administration fee is higher than most of the businesses.even though they are paid condo management fee for managing our building, they charge very high administration ****** I supposed to pay for their negligence ? My heat stopped working because of the contractor's negligence. Aren't they supposed to fix it before they left the building? Now, i am burdened with their invoice and additional interest charges. This is *********. I wish there was a regulating body to regulate such businesses.

    I submitted a "request" on December 23rd regarding issues with accessing our condo building and as of today no response from the Community Manager. Their helpdesk is of no help because the only response you receive it that it will be forwarded to the Community Manager. Corporate doesn't care because they provide no contact information other than their mailing address which tells you they don't care how incompetent their Community Managers are. It speaks volumes that FSR is not BBB Accredited.

    Condo owner managed by FSR until a couple of months ago. They may be the worst - we went through a few assigned managers for our building and they were all bad, but ***************************** was the worst.we had an arson fire on a corner of our building and they hired a contractor that went out of business shortly after, the work was completed many months after their deadline (contractor worked only during some weekends, will not even go into how expensive this got compared to the initial quote).... also, we were left with huge legal fees incurred based on the laziness and negligence of ***************************** and *** with the whole contractor business...not to mention she submitted incorrect annual budgets, she has absolutely no clue about anything... and the management did not help with our complaints either...the WORST!

    Terrible customer support. Ignored after multiple emails to the property manager, and even after asking to be contacted through their website "Contact Us" form. No response. *******, **.

    FirstService community manager is basically useless, FirstService representatives are lying to your face, Condo By Laws are violated and nothing is done, Community manager and Condo Board simply shut down anyone who speaks up. Despicable organization

    I am a condo owner and we are managed by FSR. The customer service and communication are non-existent. I have had nothing but negative experiences with this company. Multiple emails and phone calls have never been responded to. I don't know how they continue in business. Super disappointed, why are we paying them???? One star is too much.

    I have had several complaints but this one takes it all. Elevators have been down for 3 weeks & counting. We are on the 4th floor. Real Estate deals cannot be stopped! My unit ********* can't move out nor can the Buyer move in. This is serious business. No one takes our calls or answers our emails to the Community Manager. I can't get a clean ledger from Accounting either! What is an Owner to do?

    Hello J*****, I have learned that the condo elevator has been shut down due to safety reasons. We understand the frustration this causes, and this situation is top priority. Residents were informed on June 28, and our community manager has been in contact with the unit owner that we have on file, *******, on July 5 and July 7. We are waiting for confirmation on the required parts from **** Elevators and will inform residents as soon as we have a timeline for repairs. Please note the contract with **** Elevators is with the condo corporation, not FirstService Residential. We are closely monitoring this situation but unfortunately any parts on order and estimated timeframes for repairs are out of our control.     I have been dealing with ********************* at First Service Residential Alberta. She is the community manager of my property and was a very supportive and great help whilst selling my property. She was always there to help with questions and very supportive with the required documents. Also a big thank you to the ********************* who were also very supportive.

    Very disappointed with their services. First, the staff turn over of their residential manager (**) was so often (3 in the last 2 years), resulting in mistakes on their part of unable to keep a clear record & making silly mistakes on charging for wrong items (ie. parking fees); Second, when you cant get a direct answer from the ** & request speaking to a supervisor, you got no where. Its like your request is dead in the water. My last request was sent by email on June 28 to have a supervisor review the case, to today I still havent received any response. When I followed up again today & discovered the last ** was no longer working for the company. Whats most outrageous was that despite all of these internal fiasco, they sent a letter to me stating that a caveat was added to my title. This is done without anyone addressing my questions on how the outstanding charges occurred? The whole ordeal makes me feel like being victimized by a a fraud scam. I called the 1 866 customer service number & asked to speak to Managmnt about this. On waiting again
