On November 7, 2023 we returned two tanks we were leasing. We asked that the contract - which expired on February 13, 2024 be cancelled. Regardless of this request, we received an an invoice for the next year lease in February of 2024. We called on the date the invoice was emailed to us and provided the number of the *** for the returned tanks. To date, a credit has not been issued for this invoice and we are "robo" collection calls and emails.

    Good Morning:

I continue to receive collection calls on this invoice.  This morning I talked to the Linde invoicing department and they again indicated that they will escalate the matter.  I asked for a manager's name and phone number and was provided with the following:

    ************************* - ************

    ****************************************************

I have sent an email to ************** and left a voice mail.

I chose this year to end my lease on a single gas cylinder as I did not want to renew my lease. I was late on the payment as I was deciding if I wanted to renew it. I called the company to explain I didn't want to renew and was told I only have to pay for 2 months as the lease period had already started and I owe for 2 months. I called accounts receivable many times requesting the corrected invoice to be mailed to me so I can pay it and close my account. However, each time I called I was told to wait for a few weeks for a new invoice and to pay that amount. This happened numerous times and I was being billed the full amount each time I waited for the invoice to be sent. I spoke to the woman in accounts receivable and she acknowledged she was the one who spoke to me before and she would email the "invoice department" for the updated total and to again wait for the invoice to come by mail. The second last invoice I have received had a finance charge attached since they haven't received my full payment and my account was in arrears. This has been extremely frustrating since I just wanted to pay the 2 months like I was told I was liable for. Out of pure frustration, I paid the full year lease plus the finance charge and I emailed the accounts receivable person to close my account. No response from accounts receivable, cannot speak to anyone calling the ***** numbers many times. I forgot to mention the gas cylinder was already returned by me to the local distributor and I received a slip acknowledge of its return. I still have the paperwork. So I just paid for another year lease for a cylinder I don't even have in my possession. Very unprofessional.
