      Terrible ***************** Want me to send my bank statements to prove payment. I sent them their invoices for the delivery I ordered for my 81 YO father who isn't allowed to drive. They also tried to say subscription was up in May 2023. I ordered for a year in February 2023 which it clearly states on the Receipt I sent them. I ordered ************* and Calgary Herald for delivery for 1 year each. They haven't delivered ************* at all and Calgary Herald they are trying to say expires in May? I have been emailing and calling them since late February and same response of they will escalate and want my bank statements but never a solution.

      We had been loyal Herald subscribers for 27 years but continuing problems with delivery have gotten progressively worse. Over the last three months delivery has been sporadic. Last week we were not received a paper one day out of five. Prior calls to their customer service number indicated they would escalate the issue with their distribution department but nothing improved. We have now cancelled our subscription.

      This is the fourth day in a row that I haven't received delivery of the Calgary Herald or the ************* print newspapers. I have complained to customer service and twice been told that my missed papers will be delivered later on that day. It never happened. And who knows if I received the credit for missed papers that their automatic answering machine says I will receive. You can't find a number anywhere on their website to call a circulation or distribution manager. And when you send them an email, you now receive a reply saying it will take up to seven days or longer to get back to you. I agree with the customer reviews on this site that say the Calgary Herald has the worst customer service. It's obvious that they don't really care about their subscribers.

      Terrible. Missing paper delivery. They no longer post sports results. Sunday comics no longer with the Saturday edition. Most news follows what you get on television

      Very bad customer service!!!! When you pay a subscription for home delivery and get hit and miss service!

      The worst customer service. Major carrier issues with papers only being delivered occasionally despite many calls to the business. Long term Customer. Stopped delivery for vacation in April 2022 but came home to find many papers piled on front step. When delivery was supposed to recommence, no papers were delivered. Customer cancelled subscription in May 2022 but Calgary Herald has continued to bill customer monthly - of course no papers have been delivered since May. Unable to get this resolved. When able to actually connect with Calgary Herald CSR promises resolution in ***** hr but it does not happen. Issues still ongoing 6 months later

      Horrid customer service They have missed home delivery 5 times in the last 3 weeks.Trying to cancel a subscription is very difficult.They have had the same message on their online system for the last 6 months. Namely that due to high customer demand it will take 4 or 5 days to get back to you.

      Carrier issues. No papers received at all this week nor any resolution from the ********************* The paper is frequently missing with no excuse or apology. The Herald used to be a good, reliable newspaper, but no longer. Theyre quick to say youll be given a credit for the missing paper - well, we cant read a credit. Sure not the newspaper it used to be. Wish there were an alternative - this paper is a joke!

      First, we are in our 80s and have difficulty getting around. Over the last 2 weeks, the Calgary Herald did not deliver the newspaper to our home four times. Twice, we were told it was pass 8 am [around 8:30 am] so our paper would not be delivered as we contacted them too late. We were told we would be getting a credit [fat chance even for that]. The last two times, we were told the newspaper would come within two hours. Both times, it was not delivered as promised. Today, was one of the days that it WAS supposed to be delivered within two hours. This is not the first time that non-delivery has happened. For the last 5 years or so, it has happened at least 8 times. They treat the public poorly, considering this is the only newspaper that Calgary has. Long periods of waiting to be connected on the phone and then with an answering service from another city. Unfortunately, the Calgary Herald has their business "sewed up" their way in bringing across their newspaper. The Calgary Herald has a "law unto themselves". They are not interested at all about their readers. Therefore, I am lodging a complaint with the BBB as I don't know what to do or who can help!!!

      My review has nothing to do about the newspaper itself but the people hired to deliver to our homes. My parents live in Lakeview and are 80 years old with mobility issues and have been subscribers for more than 60 years!. For YEARS we have asked for the paper to be put into the mailbox and this simple request has been ignored repeatedly. It is thrown onto the step and they came to terms with that and bought a grabber to reach it off the step. In the last few months it doesn't even make the step. Interesting how the next door neighbor has his paper put in the mailbox and, even though they have asked, it seems beyond his abilities. It speaks volumes about customer service and work ethics in this day and age.
