from a young age that she did not desire the conventional route into her future career. Janessa sought something influential, where she could
use her creativity and artistic skill to support others. Being able to do what she loves and confidence were the most important factors in
choosing her next move. At the age of 17, five months before graduation she enrolled in a gel nails course and became certified. Determined, she
set out to break the norm of the nail industry in Calgary Alberta.
