    have been harrassed by this company.

    I
    hired them to cut grass prior to 2023.  Each year, Martin emailed me if I
    was interested in fall clean up, another email was sent regarding snow
    removal.  They still came to blow snow without my approval and I emailed
    Martin that I was not responsible for the billing.  

    Spring
    2023, Martined emailed regarding the cost of spring clean up, power rake and
    cut, the cost would be over $400 plus GST.  I am a retired senior, I only
    need power rake and grass cut, requested for the quote.  Martin never
    replied my email nor answered my phone. Nobody showed up to cut
    grass .  Another reliable company was hired to cut my lawn.

    I
    thought it is a relief from not dealing with Martin.  Unexpectedly, I
    received two emails from Martin in April.  Advised I have hired a reliable
    company to cut my lawn without harassment, would appreciate my name to be
    removed from the distribution list.  Martin acknowledged.

    Monday,
    May 13, 2024.  I was washing clothes in the basement and heard people cut
    the lawn.  The company I hired would cut my lawn in the middle of May
    and I keep thinking it was them.  When I walked up to the main floor,
    noticed  Martin was leading the crew to cut my lawn.  He didn't ring
    the doorbell, consulted my consent that Natures Edge Landscapes would cut my
    lawn.  I was shocked, told Martin I would not pay for the grass cut (not
    sure how much)  which I did not order.

    Hello BBB

    My name is Martin Harriman 

    I ran a small lawn care business as a proprietor in Calgary Alberta . Alice Chan (complaint filer) is a former customer. I mowed Alice Chan grass during the 2023 spring summer season .. Alice cancelled her services last year for lawn. This spring I emailed Alison informing I was moving from Calgary and that a new company (Nature’s Edge Landscaping) would be taking over services for my clients .. I also emailed Alice explaining that if she wanted she could book a spring clean up .. 

    Unfortunately due to a communication error on my part Alice’s property was placed on a list of confirmed bookings for a spring clean up .. It was meant to go on a list of “cancelled services” 

    The new company went to Alice’s house and performed a spring clean up. Alice immediately came out of the house angry and yelling at the staff. They realized the problem and contacted me .. I was 5 minutes away working at another customers house . I stopped what I was doing  went directly to Alice’s house and started apologizing.. I instructed the staff to finish the work and leave as quickly as possible . I told Alice she would not receive an invoice for the work, I apologized for bothering and I also expressed we would not contact her again .. Alice has decided to escalate the situation by involving the Better Business Bureau .. 

    Since May 13th Alice  was removed from all email contact lists.. All staff are aware Alice cancelled all services and will not inflame the issue further. I have personally ensured no other issues arise.

    No one is intentionally harassing Alice. It was an honest mistake . I have apologized to Alice and I’ve made sure no more contact will be made ..
