      January **, ****, I attended the Home Renovation Show (tradeshow) at ******* **********. I visited the World of Spas booth. I looked at hot tubs. The salesperson **** was very "*********". I told him I would think about a hot tub. My friend and I left to walk around, he left his booth where we were standing discussing away from the booth and asked what he can do to make this deal happen and tried to convince me. Later, my friend and i walked around some more and again he came and did the same away from the booth. I felt very on the spot and pressured and signed an agreement for a hot tub. I paid $**** deposit from my debit card bank account. When I went home that evening, my daughter called and told me she got into school/University for a * year Bachelors program. I had budgeted for her tow year Diploma Program but she got into the Degree program instead. Now I was panicking as I just signed an agreement for a almost $***** hot tub. I emailed and phoned first thing Monday morning. **** emailed back (salesperson who sold me the hot tub at the tradeshow yesterday) and said no, final sale, even though it has not been ** hours. **** phoned me from the website contact I contacted and said he will phone the owner and ask him. I would like a refund of my $**** deposit and have this contract cancelled. I am a single mom and always have been and need to pay for my daighter's * year program now (i had budget for * year diploma). Please please please help me. I didn't sleep all night and am so anxious now about this large purchase i feel i was high-pressure saled into. I didn't appreciate **** stopping us out of his booth near the food trucks to try and pressure sale me and again later out of his booth. I couldn't even think because he seemed to be always there. i don't know what to do. Please help. Thank you. ********************* ************

      Hello

      The owner of World of Spas ** phoned me personally yesterday morning January **, **** and cancelled the contract agreement between myself and World of Spas to purchase a hot tub and was also kind enough to refund my $**** deposit in full which I have now received. Thus, the contract for the hot tub is cancelled, null and void. ** also sent me an email informing me that the contract to purchase hot tub has been cancelled completely. I appreciated this personal response from the owner.

      I am satisfied with this response. Thank you BBB and thank you **.

      I've called ***** in the hopes of first and foremost being able to apologize for the miscommunication during this delivery as well throughout his follow **** the additional time it took on delivery day and ideally to discuss finding a resolution for this that both parties are satisfied with. I left a voicemail as there was no answer. I'm hoping we can connect this week.

      I purchased a hot tub in September of 202* from World of Spas. There were a few issues with my initial purchase as ************************* tried to deliver a spa that I did not order. To resolve the issue he sold me a brand new spa at a reduced rate. He gave me a generic user manual with the spa. Fast forward to about * months ago, I am experiencing issues with my side waterfalls spilling water over the side of the spa constantly. I checked my manual to see how to stop the problem and noticed that there is no information about my particular spa. I checked the spa to see who the manufacturer is and noticed there was no information. Spas are supposed to have an aluminum emblem with the proper identifying information near the bottom of the main access panel. I called into world of spas and no one could tell me who manufactured it and ************************* refused to give me their information. I just want the manual specific for my spa and the manufacturer contact info so I can either purchase the proper part for the fix or at least ask them a solution be he refuses. I think he is hiding something and is doing something fraudulent but I need a professional opinion. He has been in ******* before for telling customers their spa qualified for an energy rebate which is illegal and paid a hefty fine so he is no stranger to bending the truth to get a sale. Please help me get my proper documents.

      Hi there, I had a phone call with **** this morning to get a better understanding of the situation. I explained I'm the new owner of World of Spas ******* and will be working towards getting him what he has asked for, the manual for his hot tub. I will look into tracking this down, it's not a brand this store work with any longer, and do my best to get this info to him. 

      I have told **** to feel free to follow up with me directly in the meantime should anything else arise or he wants an update on where things are at. 

      Hoping to be able to provide him what he has asked for and bring this a resolution in the near future.

      Hi, I have reached out to the manufacturer to get a the detailed manual that **** is in search of but they only have the generic one that he has been given previously. I am going back and forth with them to get more info. In the meantime I have found one of the items he's looking for, the info plate that should have been affixed to his tub that has the serial # and electrical info for Voltage and Amps etc. 

      I would like to get this sent to him or have him into the store to pick it ** so we could also meet in person (I'm the new owner) and ideally let him know I'm working towards a solution on this.

      I am rejecting this response because: I am still awaiting the manual for this specific spa but I am happy that we are getting closer to a resolution.  I will come down to the store on Wednesday October **** 2023 to retrieve the identifying emblem.

      I am currently awaiting the user manual for my Hot tub as I have reason to believe that I was sold a model different from what my receipt said. The previous owner did a lot of ********** things and the new owner is looking into it.

      The last response from the customer had said that he planned to come to the store to pick up the info plate for his tub I have now. I was also going to discuss with him at that time about the manual as I don't have one with any further info I can provide him - the one he has been provided is similar in contents to other brands we sell and I was planning to discuss and show him that when he was here. 

      I would like to set up a time that works for both if us to have him in the store to give him the info plate and discuss everything with him.

      I will be setting up a meeting with JR today to see if the manual belongs to my model.
