The vendor and I entered in agreement to supply and install closet. The 75% deposit was paid on Feb-24. The site measurement were taken and install date was booked for March 21. I removed all the old shelving so that new closet can be installed. I was contacted a day earlier to inform that due to installer's unavailability due to sickness now it be moved to March 28. I took a day off on March 28th and has been waiting and didn't hear any communication. I started inquiring around 3 pm and then coordinator got back to me telling that our machine has broke down so it cant be done today and they will contact once machine is fixed. It was very unprofessional on their part not to inform me in advance. I was contacted approximately after 2 weeks and new install date was setup for April 18. I again took a day off and was waiting for the installer but no one showed up. On my inquiry, I was told that installer is sick and it will not be installed today. I took another day off for no reason. I told coordinator that I am done with you guys and would like to cancel our order. I spoke to Sales Manager, *** and he got back to me apologizing and admitting we could have communicated it better but we didn't. He agreed to give some discount as they don't want to lose business. He committed that coordinator will reach out to me for setting up new install date. For 2 weeks and I didn't hear anything and contacted the sales manager. He told me that the person who was supposed to contact me left the company and that's why no one contacted me. He promised that he will ask new coordinator to get in touch with me and he will personally call on Monday, May 9th. Since then I have not heard anything back. I have left repeated messages. Finally, I gave up and left the message via reception that I need my order cancelled and deposit returned. I was told that message will be passed to the manager and he will call me. So far deposit is not returned. It is cheating. We are living with out closet.
