    I am filing a complaint against Dave Moore Transport and Recovery Corporation regarding an excessive and non-transparent towing charge. My vehicle was towed from Craigs Parking Lot in *******, and I was charged a flat rate of $*** + tax for a distance of approximately * km.The company has refused to provide a breakdown of costs or any legal documentation proving:1.That this rate complies with Canmores municipal regulations.2.That they have a valid agreement with Craigs Parking Lot allowing them to tow vehicles from that location.3.That there were visible warning signs about potential towing.When I requested this information, they dismissed my concerns and refused to respond further. Based on my research, standard towing rates in ******* range from $** to $***, making their charge highly questionable.I am requesting an investigation into whether this charge was legally justified and if the company has violated any consumer protection laws or municipal bylaws.Thank you for your time.

    The complainant parked his car unlawfully and after repeated warnings was legally towed off of private property. He paid his towing and storage on time and we thank him for his business.
