      Worst gum i have ever been to. I've informed them twice now that I'm laid off and can't afford my payments so I need yo cancle and was still charged for monthly payments. I've contact the manager and was told that my remaining money from me fitness trainer will pay off my bill that I never should of had and close out my account. My bank account is still being charged and putting my account in the negatives and the gym won't do anything about it. I now have to pay off my bank fees that this s***** company has caused me and close out my bank account so they can no longer charge my bank account and put me in debt. Im ensuring everyone knows about the scamers they are. Did i also mention they took my gym card from me while charging me ffs, worst gym ever.

      I was diagnosed with pericarditis. Reached out to have my membership parked , as working out could put me into cardiac arrest right now. I did everything asked of me as they continued to repeatedly pull money from my account which in turn incurred multiple NSF charges. Now , even though they were not authorized to pull money they are refusing to cover the charges that they caused on my account. A gym is a gym. There are many to choose from out there. The customer service and ethics of this company and of their manger Kristine is actually appalling, especially considering that they are supposed to represent HEALTH and Wellness. Seems like the bottom line here is to keep their membership fees even if it costs you your life.

      Looks like, from the solid D- grade on the BBB, others have had a lackluster experience with this organization. *****, the manager at Macleod lied to me about several items (towel service for one, bringing in spin classes (two)). He will tell you whatever you want to hear before you sign up - just to get the sale. Now he just slithers away every time I see him. Regardless, this gym is the best of the worst for the $48 I find it cringingly bearable but barely. Hygenically speaking its a Petri dish of filth, expect athletes foot if you dont wear sandals. And bring smelling salts for the bathrooms (raw sewage smell will make you gag). But the weight equipment is top notch. Most of the cardio machines are broken (sorry).

      These guys are liars *** ******** ******* me into a "month-to-month" membership and reassured me they were monthly payments. Only to find out from a friend that they are in fact bi-weekly payments and the staff member Shae ****** blatantly lied to my face. Then their "General Manager" Chanceline ******* - who is 4 days on the job - reassures me that her staff member (who she's known for a total of 0 days since she was on vacation during her first few days as GM) is not a liar. Then she sat me down in an office with Shae as if I was supposed to hash it out with this employee who is a liar, and even Shae couldn't deny that she lied and I still wasn't reimbursed my "start up fees". They did reassure me in an email that no payments will be withdrawn (first payment would be tomorrow Oct 13) but after reading numerous reviews, I can see this will be a long drawn out process. **** ***** ** * ****. Stay FAR away people! After reading all their reviews ***** **** *** ***** ******* *** ***** ****** ******** I can see why I am left feeling cheated and lied to.

      Terrible experience. I implore that people ***** ***** of GYMVMT. The woman who signed me up was excellent. I agreed signed up. I was with GYMMVNT for 3 months. Someone told me to watch out as they double dip into your bank account. I checked. Sure enough there were extra payments made through my bank account. I went into the gym demanded a cancellation. They told me I could not cancel membership in store as I had to email. I sent email off nothing back from them. They continued taking money. I phoned them told them again of my situation and was 100 percent done. CANCELLED! Another payment was taken out. I had to close down my Bank account open another. Now they have a collection agency after me for ******. Hitting my credit BIG TIME!!! GYMMVNT do not responde with a sorry. People. **** **** **** **** ******** If I could choose no stars I would.

      My review is on GYMVMT at Transcanada Mall in Calgary *********** NE. In September 2021 my wife and me registered after listening to one of the gym staff explanation of the membership rules. Since we come to Calgary once a year we liked the idea that we could freeze membership when w are away and resume when we return. It turns out the freezing promice was a lie to get us to sign a contract. We used the gym for one day and ended up paying more than $500 to cancel and were taken to a collection agency for $90 and demanding us to pay $791. We explained the situation to the collections agency who advised us to talk to them. At the gym we met the manager who rude, unprofessional and completely disrespectful. It is a great facility until you need help. My advice do not sign any contracts. If you do get prepared to deal with an organization that has no values and no respect.
