  I've used Spring's several times over the years for my furnace issues. I have always found them excellent to deal with. Their Service Technician *** was here today to replace a blower fan that was causing extra and unusual noises from the furnace. He replaced the worn part and everything is working great. They always arrive within the scheduled window promised. You won't be disappointed with their service!! Very pleased!

  The worst service ever. Service booked for 2 furnaces in the house which cost $346.50. One furnace is for ground floor and other for first floor. The technician performed the service on Jan 18th, 2023. Soon after the service one of the furnaces does not cut-off after heating cycle and start/stop the heating cycle. This is critical and immense safety/fire concern. If heating does not stop, it will continue and can create fire hazard. The next day I raised concern to Springs heating via email (copy attached). I received a phone call from ********************* who claims to be the owner. She happens to be not willing to listen at all and asked for additional $150 for service technician to come and have a look. I repeatedly tried to make her understand my concern as this is safety issue and can end up in fire hazard. She would not listen and the discussion ended up in argument. Now I am living with the problem and have the fire/safety concern all the time. If anything happens, Springs Servicing and Heating is going to be responsible.

  Good morning ******************,************** made very specific notes regarding your two 32 year old furnaces. I have copied them in my comments below:The customer has said he has been having the following issues with his furnaces. Main furnace--The fan seems to turn off at the end of a heating cycle and then comes back on for a few seconds then shuts off again, this happens intermittently.-The heat on a couple occasions seemed to stay on and overheated the house. -The temperature set of 22C doesn't seem as comfortable this year and he has increased it to 22.5C. Upper Furnace--There seemed to be a noise a couple times from this furnace before the fan shut down.For the two furnaces, cleaned the pilot assemblies, burners and Inspected thermocouples, both thermocouples tips were breaking, replaced both. Inspected the heat exchangers, both furnaces are very ***** but could not identify any visible cracks. Tested and oiled the blower motors, tested the gas pressure and temperature rise. Checked and cleaned the fresh and combustion air intake screens. The furnace filters are okay. Checked the humidifier pads, the main floor was okay, the upper was scaled, replaced the pad cleaned drain hoses and tested operation of them both. The main floor furnaces' circuit board is causing the issues with fan turning on and off, the relay that controls the blower motor is closing and opening both to turn the fan on during a call for heat and to turn the fan off. The replacement board is $625 plus GST. The upper floor furnaces circuit board turned the fan on, off and back on for the call for heat, this board may be starting to wear out as well. The fan has a bit of a humming noise to it meaning the motor maybe starting to wear out as well. A new motor with capacitor is $400. The humidity levels were set at only 10%, this can cause the house to feel slightly cooler, raised to 20%. Comfort range is 30-40%. These furnaces are original to the house, ****, 32 years old and past the life expectancy. Recommend replacing them both. The hot water tank is dated 2008, going on 15 years old, it should be replaced soon as well.When we spoke on the phone regarding your concerns I did ask you if you wanted to replace the circuit board as per our technicians notes and you said you did not want to. Nor did you want to book an estimate to replace the furnaces also recommended by **************. If we were to come back out to repeat everything we told you in our original appointment then a service call would apply.The furnaces have functioning and operational safeties, if the parts were to fail the furnace will shut off. There would be no fire or safety concerns that you speak of. If you are not wanting to replace the parts on the existing 32 year old furnaces or replace them I am not sure what good sending ************** back out would be at this point.

  Spring's was able to schedule a service call to replace a major part within 1 day of notification that the furnace was inoperable. We intend to use them in future (as opposed to one used recently that was unable to supply the part). The technician was pleasant, competent and quick. We would highly recommend Spring's.

  We've had two furnaces and a water heater from Spring's, always well done. Our furnace quit today (no fault of the furnace, but intermittent power loss). The tech, *******************************, tracked the problem down, which was not as easy as it might seem and since I had a spare breaker, he replaced the bad one, checked everything and was on his way. Fast and efficient, had arrived on time, pleasant and a good communicator.
