    Me and my partner are selling our homes to buy * home together, so we hired Simply Dynamic to remove and install carpet for the sale of our homes. ***** came to my home first to do measurements. We picked a carpet at that time. Then we both drove to my partners home to do measurements. While at his house he picked a solid color carpet and I told ***** at that time, I want to switch mine to that color as well so we will both have the same carpet installed. Received the quote on May *, 20**. I looked at the price and approved. My partner's carpet was installed first, on May 2*, 20** in * day. It was the correct order. My carpet was installed the next * days. I was not home when the installers arrived and left a door code with *****. When I returned home that evening, I saw the wrong carpet was installed. I was able to get in touch with ***** the next morning, and she said because I approved it, there is nothing they can do. I explained, I approved the price, I do not know the codes they use. I spoke to ******, he said because he won't be able to resell the carpet installed, and he had to pay * installers $**/hour each, he would lose money, unless I pay more to have the correct carpet ordered. I said no. ****** recommended I change the color of my walls upstairs instead. At that point, I said if I have to change the paint I would like a discount on the carpet then. He offered **% off the carpet ($***). The installers also took all the left-over rolls away, but when asked, they said there was none left. ****** recommended I cut into a closet carpet to use as a patch. It was only when I provided video evidence via my doorbell camera, they said they will order a piece in as I now have a patch I need to repair. I asked ****** to revisit the resolution as this has been a very negative experience and that I was left with carpet that I originally did not order. He emailed back that the resolution he offered "exceeds typical industry standards". and resent the invoice.

    I had to pay the invoice to prevent ***% interest charges that would be starting to occur on June **, 2025. In the e transfer, I added a note, I will attach a screenshot.

    Hello, 

     

    There has been no update or contact regarding any further resolution from the company. They did deliver a small carpet roll that was originally thrown out by the installer, but other than that, nothing.
