On September 12th, 2024 I Signed up for a 4x50 Membership for my mum *********** with StretchLab. Payment was of $399+Taxes. My mum used the service for a while but as a stroke patient, it did not work for her. Then she stopped using it. She was not staying with me so I didnt know she stopped but after she left, I saw a charge on my account and called on Nov 18 2024 to cancel. Then on Dec 12 I got another charge. When I called then they said I needed 30days notice but I had given only 25 days. I pleaded with them that I have being paying for unused credit as my mum stopped the sessions for a while so if they can the previous charges and refund the Dec charge but they refused. This is not a case of no show as the sessions were not even booked at all so they had the hours free. They said I have to use the credit myself. I told them I do not need the stretch but I can take a massage machine with the amount so I can send to my mum who lives in ****** because she is not around to come for the stretch but they refused. They make it very had to get out of a contract with them and this is an unfair practice. I asked them when last my mum was treated and they have all ignored my emails to date. I believe she might have last gone in oct 2024. So I was charged in October and November for no service and when I called to cancel, I was charged for Dec again because they said I called on Nov 18 not Nov 12. They know this patient is not around and has not showed up for over 6 weeks. I am only asking for a refund of that Dec charge and not oct or Nov which they charged me with no service rendered but they have since refused to refund me. Please I need a refund. I have tried to reach their management but they have all ignored me.
