    Date of Service: May **, 2025 Total Paid: CAD $****** Summary of Complaint:I am filing this complaint against Airdrie Bouncy Castles due to their failure to deliver the service I paid for and their refusal to issue a refund, despite prior verbal and written promises.On May **, 2025, I booked an inflatable rental (Monster Truck) for a birthday event. Although I accepted a minor delay from ***** ** **** PM, the company arrived even later. Due to power limitations, which I had clearly communicated in advance via email (** meters away, across the street). The business misunderstood my location description, but that misunderstanding was theirs, not mine, and I should not be held responsible for it. The setup was not completed, and the equipment was never used.The representative verbally promised a full refund on site. In a follow-up email dated May **, 2025, the business confirmed a refund of CAD $******. However, no refund was received. When I inquired again on May **, the company reversed their position and refused any refund at all.Although there was a minor typo in the phone number I provided, I maintained communication through email and Messenger, signed the contract early, and paid the full amount in advance. Notably, the business never requested this advance paymentit was made in good faith and trust. Their refusal to return the money after failing to provide any service amounts to unjust retention of my personal funds.Instead of resolving the issue, the business responded with threats of legal action and accusations of defamation.Why My Complaint Is Justified:Service was not delivered: No setup occurred.Refund was promised: Both verbally and via email.I acted in good faith: Communicated clearly, accepted a delay, and even offered to settle for a partial refund.Advance payment was not required: Yet it was made and then unfairly withheld.Resolution Requested:I request a full refund of CAD $****** for the service not rendered.
