I purchased a house in December 2023, suspected there was a rental water heater from this company in the house. Called to understand what was the situation was. The bill was apparently paid through mid March at that point. They took my information and I didnt hear from them until end of Feb/March. End of Feb I received a bill that was double what was discussed on the phone. I was trying to figure out what was going on when on March 1st I started getting harassed by them. They sent an aggressive letter saying they sent me a rental contract and I needed to sign it, I never received a rental contract. I called 03/05/24 and they started attempts to intimidate me and insisting things were my fault. I determined they had my name and email wrong in their system, yet they have no interest in correcting it so they can actually contact me. I went in circles trying to understand what the monthly payments were for, I still do not understand what Id be paying for; the unit is 40 years old (installed in 1984), there is no possible way money is still owed on the unit at this point. They are refusing to repossess it but cannot tell me what Im paying for other than the use of the unit they wont repossess and theyd obviously not repair. When I realized I was getting no where but frustrated with the customer service rep I asked for a manager, he said he was the manager but jokingly said he could get me the *** I said okay great, after a long wait he said the ** was unavailable and would call me. She called me later in the day on 03/05/24 while I was in a meeting and left an absolutely useless message.
