BBB, Greater Maryland brought the business community together on October 22 to recognize six businesses for their commitment to ethical leadership. The breakfast celebrated this year’s winners and finalists and featured a conversation with Jim Ries and John Dinkel about building lasting business relationships.

TURNING NETWORKING INTO OPPORTUNITY

Contractor Connections Networking Event Series

Contractor Connections gives Maryland business professionals a better reason to network. Over four events in 2026, the quarterly series drew 500+ business professionals looking to build relationships, referrals, and new opportunities. This gathering aboard Pride of Baltimore II shows the series in action, bringing contractors and other business leaders together in a setting worth showing up for.

BBB, GREATER MARYLAND FOUNDATION FUNDRAISER

Annual Golf Tournament

BBB’s annual golf tournament gives Maryland business leaders a day to connect outside the office. The 2026 event at Turf Valley brought local business professionals together for a full day of competition, conversation and relationship-building, turning one of BBB’s signature events into another way to strengthen the local business community.

KEEPING SENSITIVE DOCUMENTS OUT OF THE WRONG HANDS

Shred Day

BBB Shred Day turns identity-theft prevention into a community service people show up for. In 2026, more than 2,100 people came through two Maryland locations, where more than 20 tons of sensitive documents were securely destroyed. The event also raised $4,833 in donations, with local partners and sponsors making the large-scale service possible.
