Student initiatives
Since launching our student outreach initiatives in 2022, the BBB Arkansas Education Foundation has connected with thousands of students and educators each year through presentations, programs and resources focused on entrepreneurship, scam prevention, financial literacy, professionalism, ethics and other real-world marketplace topics.
Our BBB Student Video Contest, launched in Arkansas in 2025, gives students another opportunity to put those lessons into action through research, creativity and storytelling. In its first two years, the contest received 42 video submissions and awarded $15,650 in prizes to Arkansas students and schools.
Through classroom education, educator resources and hands-on programs like the Student Video Contest, we’re helping prepare the next generation to become informed consumers, ethical leaders and confident participants in the marketplace.
Consumer and business outreach
The BBB Arkansas Education Foundation reaches hundreds of thousands of consumers and business professionals each year through educational presentations, community partnerships, digital content, media outreach and resources focused on scam prevention, financial well-being, marketplace issues and ethical business practices.
Older adult education has become an important part of that work. Over the past two years, we have provided educational presentations to more than 2,000 older adults across Arkansas, while continuing to reach countless consumers and businesses through presentations, educational content and community outreach.
Looking ahead to 2027, we’re focused on expanding our impact even further. Our goals include growing consumer-facing programs, creating new educational opportunities for Arkansas businesses and increasing fundraising efforts to support the continued growth of the Foundation’s programs and statewide reach.
None of this work would be possible without the businesses, donors, sponsors and community partners who support our mission. Their investment helps us bring timely, practical education to Arkansans at every stage of life and build a more informed, ethical and trustworthy marketplace.
