      This prepaid no contract tello mobile service is a scam ! I did not authorize auto pay and I was told that I could cancel at any time and receive prorated credit refund for the remaining balance of unused service. I was charged a full month of service on July 31 2024 canceled this service on August 3rd and transferred to a new carrier after porting and transferring my number to the new carrier on Aug 3 I did not receive my prorated refund balance for unused services I was charged $25.88 unlimited plan for only 3 days of service they refused to refund me for unused services I will file complaint with BBB and request charge back from my credit card provider.

      ABSOLUTELY THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE TONIGHT July ********* from 9PM to 11PM.************************* said he could fix it without me replying to the email after he repeatedly said they needed the email and all points completely filled out and received so then he could escalate the issues and then have them resolved. Once I started replying to the email after getting out my laptop he continued to ****** me with more questions, the same questions that are in the email. Even after I had asked him to wait and stay connected in chat while I finished the email request. Shooting a few well phrased questions back at him he ended the chat abruptly. **** is an understatement for their customer service and they did not at all seemed concerned for the customer.Terrible mobile data speeds on 4G, barely over 1MB Download and 0.5 MB Upload. Unable to stream music from any app or browser on the phone. They openly advertise that their 4G MObile Phone Device speeds will provide a speed range of ***** MB Downloads. Have never seen those speeds on my phone with them. Using my home budget Wifi I have no problems with my ONEPLUS phone and see minimum speed of 25 MB when 25 feet away out in the yard and can watch videos using XFINITY.Prior to tonight my phone will at least once a day give me a notice that my provider has stopped providing voice services and I will have no service of any kind with an 'X' over the signal bars for a couple mins. I had ******** before this provider, TELLO is an MVNO that uses larger network towers, says they're using ******** towers. Problems like this would not happen if they're actually using ******** towers. I had no issues like this with older phones on ******** in ***************************************** *******, ** same as TELLO. It is advised that you do not use this provider TELLO if you would like to be able to stream music or use your phone for voice calls, it barely works and could leave you without any voice or data services when you need it most.

However, you refused this offer, insisting that our agent should remain connected to the chat while the email was being formulated. Despite the prolonged 40-minute chat session, the investigation was concluded within 48 hours, thanks to the assistance of our main network provider. It was determined that ********************** device, an Android 11 from 2020, was causing the network connection issues.We decided to review your case once again and we verified the customer service you were provided was the best possible, given the circumstances and the difficulty you proposed while gathering the information for the initial investigation.We're sorry for the inconvenience and hope you'll accept our resolution.

      Horrible experience! I purchased a new NUU A15 phone for $139 -- that's a lot of money for me. I can't operate the phone with the limited "Quick Start" manual provided --- I need a full owners' manual, which is not available! I want to return the device for a full refund. **************** sent me an e-mail with return info and a link for a shipping label. The link to the shipping label does not work! I can't complete the return steps because I can't operate the device!I canceled service the day after activating it.

This information is sourced from the brand's official website.Since the device is still under warranty, we accepted the free return, and the link to download and print the return label was emailed to you almost immediately after you contacted us.One of our experts will reach out to clarify the steps you are attempting before you can return the phone. If you have never been able to operate it, there should be no further steps needed. However, if you set up your Gmail and other personal accounts, you will need to log out and delete them before returning the device.We strongly recommend opening both the return label link and the quick start guide link on a computer, as they have been tested and function as intended.Once the device reaches our warehouse, we will process the refund request.Thank you for your patience & understanding.

      The service is trash. It only works half the time. When I left a review, they publicly revealed my data usage and tried to blame me for their garbage phone service. That's incredibly unprofessional.

      It was the most frustrating cell phone company I have ever had. I requested a refund because I switched to a different cell provider. They granted me the refund gave me the refund. It was processed and put in my account. I went to use my credit card. and guess what? It was declined because Tello was taking another payment out. I got really frustrated. Talk to three or four people and they all said something different. I sent them screenshots of my account. I sent them screenshots of my chat history with them. they dont understand it. If I could give it zero stars I would! The staff was very disrespectful treating me like I was stupid even though I have all the actual evidence. I changed to a different cell phone company and boom just like that. Everything works like a pro. Dont waste your time or your money on Tello. Its not even worth the $14.27 a month. Dont go here find something different.!

      I bought Tello's Apple SE 2nd generation (2021) phone in June 2023 a refurbished phone and it has cut off a number of times during conversations on some important calls. It gave me much pain and frustration always trying to find the phone green icon often sometimes not getting on the screen for over an hour of trying various things. After 5 to 6 months in December of 2023 it would no longer charge using various wall socket power outlets and I checked the connection cable and not only that it would no longer ever turn on at all. Feel like whoever refurbished did not try to do a good job and I was always having to charge it all the time plus it never did ship to me with a cable to connect to my apple computer which should have been in the box. BBB has a "B" rating for Tello and only a 2 out of 5 customer satisfaction.       Ever ********************** I've had in my life I've orderd a new tello service and activated it in website and inserted *** in my unlocked phone and the *** isn't recognized. I contacted customer care and they requested IMEI number which i gave and they tell it may be locked, but its unlocked and i using from last two years, they asked to test it in another unlocked phone, i did that its not workin either thay say its a phone problem, LOL all other **** are working in the phones not just TELLO, and then they suggest me order a new SIm and they want to charge for SIm and shipping, basically TELLO is expecting customer to pay for their defective product replacement, what a BUSINEES Practice. they need to learn how to serve customers rather than shipping defective products.

      Ok so we've only been with Tello for 3 days. And for those 3 days, no complaints! We wanted a low cost data plan since my wife and I have been sharing a 1 gig plan with Xfinity for 4 years. We like the fact we were able to choose a different plan for each line all on one account. We both started out with low data plans (5gb) with me getting 300 talk minutes and her getting unlimited minutes. The total cost is 36 bucks a month! Great! Everything has been perfect for our 3 days. Fast texting and clear voice calls. We're looking for a long relationship with Tello. Having choices with your plan and no contract is the way to go!
