Better Business Bureau® (BBB®) St. Louis advises consumers to use caution if doing business with ZPG Productions, a Fredericktown, Missouri-based photography business. Consumers reported to BBB the company failed to deliver photos and videos, did not provide refunds, did not contact customers, and overall poor customer service.
ZPG Productions has an “F” rating, the lowest on BBB’s scale, due to recent unanswered complaints.
Complaints received by BBB came from newlyweds who hired the company to provide photography and videography services for their wedding.
A woman from Kansas City, Missouri, told BBB she hired ZPG Productions in July 2023 to shoot her wedding scheduled for June 2024. The woman said the owner of the business, Faith Green, cancelled three days before the wedding. According to the contract, she said the business had 90 days to return the $570 payment she made at the time of the booking.
“We gave her 90 days to return the money, and I have sent her ways to return the money to me,” she told BBB. “She said she was working on (the refund), but we never got it.”
A woman from Abilene, Texas, told BBB she hired ZPG Productions to shoot photos and video of her June 2024 wedding in Luverne, Alabama, paying $1,100. The woman said she received her wedding photos but never received the video. She would like to get a $550 refund if the company is not going to provide the video.
“Everything was smooth in the beginning,” the woman told BBB. “But after the wedding, we were ghosted by (ZPG Productions).”
A woman from Golden, Illinois, told BBB she hired ZPG Productions in December 2023 to shoot a wedding in Golden in October 2024. The woman said she paid the business $1,674 to provide photos and video of the event.
She told BBB she received an email from Green three days before the wedding which said she had a medical emergency and could not make the event.
“She said she was going to get us a refund as quickly as possible, but we never heard from her again,” the woman told BBB.
ZPG Productions is not registered with the Missouri secretary of state. The business markets itself through an Instagram page.
The business did not respond to a BBB letter emailed to it regarding how it plans to address its pattern of customer complaints. It also did not respond to an email sent to it by a BBB investigator.
