Better Business Bureau Serving the Pacific Southwest (BBB) held a sold-out Unleashing the Spark: A Networking Experience for Powerhouse Businesswomen event that inspired females to be leaders of change. With over 100 attendees, women entrepreneurs, business owners, and executives delve into the theme of “Igniting Change: Transforming Business with Bold Ideas” to discover how their visions can drive innovation and impact in the business world.
The panel included trailblazing women entrepreneurs who are leading change in San Diego. Led by moderator Katty Ibarra, Regional Director of the Women’s Business Center, Maresa Friedman, Fractional Chief Strategist, Tahera Christy, Founder and CEO of Amour Propre, Gina Dewar, Co-Founder and Bilingual Editor in Chief of La Revista Binacional Magazine and Dr. Erin Rhae Biller shared how to find solutions while being resilient and inspiring stories of in their journeys.
"It's always great to be in the company of women who are not just inspirational, but actively demonstrating that their expertise and experience is worthy of investment. As a speaker at the event, I appreciated the positive, practical feedback and tactical ways to implement things like asking for more money, being unapologetic about growth and living at the intersection of passion purpose and profit. BBB has done a phenomenal job of creating these spaces and the numbers don't lie- more than 100 women gathered to learn how to launch, scale and grow- from top women in the industry” shared Maresa Friedman.
The evening was filled with networking opportunities to exchange ideas, build relationships and find potential collaborators or mentors.
