2022 Torch Scholarship Winners and Sponsors (Karen Nicole Photography)
On Monday, November 7, Better Business Bureau of North Alabama announced the winners of the 21st Torch Scholarship Program during this year’s Torch Awards for Ethics Luncheon at The Westin Huntsville.
The Torch Scholarship Program recognizes local high school seniors who exemplify strong ethics and integrity through leadership, community service and academic accomplishments. Part of the application process requires students to write an essay on the importance of ethics in business, government, and the community. A panel of judges evaluates the entries and selects the student honorees to each receive a $1,000 scholarship paid to the college or university of their choice.
Congratulations to the following scholarship recipients:
Rudi Derrick - Good Hope High School
Ella Claire Hodges - Scottsboro High School
