The 29th Annual Torch Awards for Ethics will be held Friday, Nov. 6, 2026, from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Jackson Center in Huntsville. Our presenting sponsor this year is Nucor Steel Decatur, LLC.
For nearly three decades, BBB North Alabama’s Torch Awards have recognized local organizations that demonstrate an outstanding commitment to ethical leadership and business practices. The Torch Award is designed to promote not only the importance of ethical business practices, but the willingness and efforts made by outstanding businesses to ensure that our marketplace remains fair and honorable for all.
The event will also feature the 25th Annual Torch Scholarship Program, recognizing North Alabama high school juniors and seniors selected to receive $1,000 scholarships toward the college or university of their choice. Students are chosen based on their overall personal integrity and character, their personal achievements, contributions to their communities and schools, and academic accomplishments.
