Speakers:
Kevin Lacey - Bo Lacey Construction
Kevin Lacey, the dynamic co-owner of Bo Lacey, Ohio's rapidly expanding home improvement company, credits the firm's success to a duo of foundational pillars. Firstly, the invaluable lessons gleaned from their days as university football teammates, seamlessly translated into their business operations. Secondly, a dedication to construction excellence, a legacy imparted by Kevin's father, Bo Lacey, from a young age. Kevin's approach is shaped by key principles: a strong culture trumps strategy, meticulous process discipline separates good from great, collaboration is non-negotiable, accountability is vital, and balancing hard work with fun is essential.
Grant Smith - Director of Operations, Muth & Company Roofing Inc.
Jamey Halsey - Director, Financial Advisory Services, GBQ Partners, LLC
Mike Rosati - Owner, Rosati Windows
Mike Rosati learned the value of service at a very young age. He started working for his grandfather in the family owned Grocery store business at the age of 7 where he stood on a box in the butcher shop so that he could see over the counter, and built relationships with the customers, who all knew his name. Mike would tell you that he learned so much by watching his grandfather and how he cared about people, always making sure the customer comes first. To this day he backs that up, but not only to his customers, but to his community as well.
Mike worked for Rosati grocery stores until he was 19 years old, moved on to real estate & construction projects, then joined a Central Ohio window dealer where he rose to the level of general manager. Mike spent 20 years working for someone else in the replacement window business and then founded Rosati Windows in July of 2000. It was important to Mike to carry on the values instilled in him by his grandfather. And it payed off. He has grown the company from a start-up operation to a multi-million dollar company with a commanding share of the Central Ohio Market. In the 56,000-square-foot showroom and factory located in Columbus, Rosati Windows manufactures replacement windows & sliding glass doors.
But that’s not where the story ends. Mike Rosati gives back to the community that means so much to him. His foundation is a major supporter of Ohio Cancer Research, Recreation Unlimited, High School Athletic programs, The Buckeye Ranch and Charitable Pharmacy of Central Ohio, which helps Columbus area residents in need to obtain prescription medications.
