    we purchased riverstone rv from Legacy RV in ************** on May 3, 2024 immediately after getting at home, the furnace did not work. They could not help us. *** had the furnace replaced and then and now two months into our journey after month one our solar does not work. Our generator will not work and we are having to have the whole electrical redone by an outside source, do not deal with these people or

    In March of 2023 we bought an RV from Legacy in ******** (which I found out later was bought out by another company). At the time we also bought a warranty for repairs on the large items (fridge, stove, a/c, etc). Due to unforseen circumstances, we never used this RV and sold it in August of 2023. We immediately filed for a refund on the warranty, with the understanding that it would be pro-rated for the six months we had the *** I first contacted the dealership in ********, who informed me that they had changed hands, and they couldn't help me and I would need to deal directly with Legacy RV in **** (headquarters). There is a section in the warranty contract that says it can be cancelled and refunds made by providing paperwork proving you no longer own the *** We immediately submitted all the required paperwork and documents in August 2023. It is now June 2024 and we have heard NOTHING. We have sent emails, we have tried to contact them by phone and you never get to speak to a person. This company has over $1,000 of our money. We have no RV, no warranty (because we cancelled it immediately upon the sale) and NO MONEY. At this point they have basically stolen our money since they have not given us a refund. We have done everything they asked and they have done nothing. I would NEVER encourage anyone to use or deal with this company at all. I'm giving them a ONE STAR rating, but would give ZERO if I could.

    I put money down for a specific RV model at Legacy's ****** (greater St. Louis) ******** (now Optimum RV) in mid June 2023, which they didn't have in stock, and was told there was one remaining on the mfgr lot that I could get with a $1000 down payment. So I put the money down, and 3 weeks later found out that the dealership had been sold from Legacy RV out of **** to Optimum RV out of *******. I was told this would not impact my sale/order, but a month after that I was still getting the runaround and one of the sales managers at the Optimum ** office was trying to sell me a different model/RV I didn't want. When I finally figured out from my original salesperson in ******** that they couldn't get the original unit I was promised due to licensing transfer issues and a rep that had since sold it to a different dealership elsewhere in the country, I was promised my money back verbally by both the Festus salesperson as well as the Optimum ** office sales mgr. But a couple weeks later (now mid-August) I still hadn't received any word of the refund getting processed, and when I asked again, they told me they couldn't since it was originally paid to the Legacy group and referred me back to Legacy RV in ****. Legacy then bent over backwards at first indicating of course they would refund my payment, but never got back to me. Neither Optimum nor Legacy ever refunded my money. Luckily, I used a credit card and my credit card company offers a dispute process to protect consumers from corrupt companies like these. I filed a dispute and finally got my credit card to refund my deposit, but never heard back ANYTHING from either Legacy or Optimum. Meanwhile, one of these companies still has $1000 for a product they didn't deliver. Beware of this dealership and Optimum and Legacy groups in general.

    We paid cash for a brand new trailer in April 2022 through Legacy RV. After dealing with endless issues from the day we went to pick it up from the lot, it would not turn on, so we left it there for almost a week to fix that issue to our fridge literally falling out while driving and our fresh/frozen food spilling/defrosting to our sofa in ************ delivered broken and they installed the wrong size axel which blew through 3 tires down to the wires. Our second time taking our trailer out the bunkbed fell in, ************ pop-out broke - would not close... the list goes on and on. We have had all the promises since April - its now November and ****** still sits. Its been at the dealership 3 times for weeks on weeks this summer - which ruined all of plans for our summer. Our 1 year warranty ends in April and we still have a 50+ punch list undone. I finally reached out to the owner of Legacy RV in April and he made all the promises of making "it right" but has yet to follow through. His last text response was "I will not comment further on anything, nor will Legacys staff until I have Forest River (the manufacturers) imput. This was text in July, it's November and here we are... still waiting!! I would definitely rethink dealing with Legacy RV, it's been nothing but stress and empty promises!!
