5 starsWe love ****************. They are always so professional and courteous and friendly. Today we had **** from the plumbing, and he did a great job making it easy for me to turn off and on my shower and replaced an expansion tank on the water heater and installed ******* discharge tube on the water safety valve. 2 starsService was fine, ************** was prepared and repaired our furnace in about 75 minutes. However... we were charged $200 for ***** minutes re-sealing the inducer housing... that's the equivalent of $800-$1,200/hr. for labor as well as $551 for two small inexpensive parts **************** sensor) which, at cost, are no more than about $40... that's a *****% mark-up. And then $132 for a 'trip charge' to a location for a part that took no longer than 15 minutes. Upon doing some research into industry standards and practices, I learned that the average mark-up for HVAC companies for parts is between 300 and 600% depending upon various factors and circumstances and labor is routinely charged at no more than $100/hr. In addition, trip charges are typically no more than $79 (depending upon distance and time). Based on this information, if you take the average for mark-up at 450%, the cost for the igniter and flame sensor should have been about $180. The time it took to complete everything was about 1 hour and 15 minutes and so total labor should have been $125 with $25 of that for the re-seal of the inducer housing. With an avg. trip charge of $79 (tech was gone ***** minutes), our bill should have been around $384 but it was almost 3 times that at $942. The trip charge was waived and credited back since we were not notified of it. What they are charging is not just outrageous, it's wrong and immoral.Any Hour Services

5 starsThe Technician worked late and took an extra call so I was able to get service with my water heater that same day. The Technician could have stated that he would have to return the following day to replace my water heater, however, he stayed and worked late into the evening and finished the job the same day. The technician was very professional and took the time to do the job correctly and make sure I was satisfied.Any Hour Services
