Contacted H&T Carpet about replacing flooring.H&T's salesman measured, quoted, and explained the install on 3/17/25.When asked if I needed to prepare anything, he did not specify anything besides unbolting the utility sink. The flooring was first installed on 3/28/25.I stopped at the property on 3/31/25 to see the install to find the following:* Two types of LVP were installed * 90% if not all boards have indentations that did not appear on the sample * A layer of dust coating the walls, counters, cabinets (inside as well), blinds, light fixtures, carpet on stairs, and upstairs * Dents and paint scuffs on the washer and dryer * Damage to doors, walls, and trim that had been painted in the prior weeks * Windows were left unlocked on first floor/needed reseated to lock properly Sent images to him; he met me 4/2/25 to view in person. He confirmed the mismatched boards and dents. He also left me blue tape to mark every board.I started in the sun room and did not find a single board that did not have the dents.I messaged him what I saw to give H&T and idea of the rework needed for 4/3/25.I returned 4/5/25 to find no updates to the floor, the front door unlocked, the bathroom light on, and the toilet seat left up.Then I proceeded to removed dust from 30 cabinets, 4 light fixtures, 11 windows/blinds, and any other surface that had a noticeable layer of dust.Nothing was communicated about rescheduling.I messaged him to get a new date to inform the other parties waiting for H&T, but did not get a response.I followed up on 4/8/25 to find out new LVP was ordered with an install date of 4/10/25.I returned 4/11/25 to find the matching boards had the same indentations as the others.I called him to address the issue that afternoon and was met with "We already gave you a discount", "Do you have a number?", "I'll ask Monday", and "I have to go".He has not responded.I've mailed in a check to avoid the late fees, interest, and legal fees

***** from H&T is sending a check for $1000 for the issues.

I'm accepting it as a means to resolve this complaint and ask to have it removed as a show of good faith.

These issues do not represent the breadth of work that H&T as a whole has done for years, which was a major contributing factor into why I originally picked them for the install
