5/17/2022 signed both contracts. 6/6/22 at 16:30 I went and cancelled both contracts in person as i have lost control of number one and two and have to use pads 24/7. I cancelled by phone, in person, by email and by certified mail. Also returned his key fob. I was doing slow progress on my own before I joined this gym to make my recovery go faster, weak core and strokes lost streght on the left side, leg and arm, but after two weeks (4 classes) I was not able to perform my daily tasks, I coould not work. I told them all my limitations before signing the contacts and they said it was safe for me to do their program. I told every instructor I worked with. I also have fits of cough there. it was almost like an allergic reaction to something. I made an appointment to talk to the owner since he was the one who sold the group training after the manager left for the day and he told me that he would work with me, if the program was not for me, I reminded him of my very personal problems and how much worse I was and why I needed to cancel just the group class, he acted like he did not hear me, he told I had to stick with it, I said I was not able and his program had made me so much worse. Then he told me that if everyone who wanted to cancel could he would be out of business. He kept charging me until my bank had no funds and last month he sent me to collections. and added in my credit. I can't cancel these two contracts unless passing away, or having a permanent disability to keep me in bed, or if moving more than 50 miles away where there is no franchise, and even then, I must prove it with documents and letters which they may or may not accept. I have talked to them. I have called headquarters. I have written reviews to alert others. I have been to three doctors. They don't feel comfortable writing a letter with the wording these contracts require since my condition will improve with time, physical therapy and surgery. I am still doing physical therapy since.
