      I went for an eye exam with **************. I was given a prescription for progressive lenses with a diagnosis of astigmatism and farsightedness. I paid for them in advance on January 13, 2024.I was told the glasses would take 3-weeks. I went to the vision center one month later. I was told they'd be there soon. Finally received the glasses 5 weeks after original payment. They were incorrect prescription. ******* said provider screwed up the order. I asked for a refund. Told I would have the money refunded to my debit card within a week. After 9 days I called ******* and was told she needed to contact **************** before she could give refund AND reinstate my benefits. I called Eyemed and was told that they paid the doctor and they can't reinstate my benefits until Crystal sends them their money back.As of today, 7 weeks later I still...1. Haven't gotten my prescription.2. No longer have the insurance benefit.3. Haven't been refunded the money I paid for the glasses ($100+)!Sincerely,Dr. ***********************

      Good morning.

      ***************************** visited our office for eye exam and glasses on 1/13/24.

      He used his EyeMed Vision Benefits and paid a co-pay of $95.

      His eyeglass order was processed through **************** as directed by his EyeMed insurance.

      Upon dispensing, he immediately rejected the glasses for reasons unknown, while aggressively screaming strange details to both staff and patients in office. ******* attempted to remedy his reason for rejecting the glasses but could not, as ***************************** just continued to rant in an unhinged manner.

      ******* has issued refund for the $95. and has re-instated his full benefits with EyeMed.

      Here's what is so troubling:

      ***************************** left several voice messages(we are processing them for permanent record)... threatening, screaming, accusing, with odd details and strange references. He called several times during office hours and threatened to stand outside our office all day to warn patients that we are a "scam and a rip-off"...? He posted on social media "scam and rip-off" and other unusual claims...?

      The staff feels very threatened by ***************************** and are concerned by his erratic rants and bully-like behaviors.

      Since he has received full refund and full benefits re-instatement, we do not understand the basis of his complaint nor his claim to BBB... we do however feel that ***************************** is a threat and a trouble-maker. ******* has instructed her staff to call local police if ***************************** visits our office for any reason.
