    It's been 4 weeks and your company has not picked up our trash. We have contacted you weekly. We get promised notes are sent to a supervisor and dispatch and still, you haven't touched our trash.

     Garbage picked up last week by pick up truck thanks to BBB. Garbage was put out last night for garbage today, our assigned garbage day. Company has yet to pick up. This is 5 weeks of missed pick up on garbage day. We would like garbage picked up on our assigned garbage day weekly and our bill to reflect the weeks missed.

    I will start from the beginning. Our township switched to this company and we've had NOTHING but problems. It started out with not taking all of our garbage which was never over the allowed and it was never brought to our attention the limit from the beginning. Any time you call the company you have to call numerous times in order to talk to anyone. They claim someone is coming out and nobody comes unless you call the township. The most recent incident was last week they didn't pick up ANY garbage on our road. So my husband called to assure that this week they will pick up the EXTRA garbage they left last week. Finally they come pick it up and leave an entire bag FOR NO REASON. I asked them 6 months ago for a bill in the mail and they don't send anything unless you're late and don't worry they tack on the fee EVEN THOUGH I ASKED FOR A PAPER BILL IN THE MAIL. This company has been nothing but an issue from the beginning and we would like a different garbage company on our road. That is coming from us and our neighbors who have had the same problems.

    The roads were not serviced last week and the trucks were unable to get to the homes and safely pick up.  We contacted the township and informed them and gave them time to clear the roads which they were not able to.  We serviced the area yesterday and I can report your missed pick up to be reviewed by the route manager.  I will also look into the late fee on your account.

    County Hauling is the trash collecting company we are forced to use by the Borough of Canonsburg. County Hauling missed a pickup at my house almost two weeks ago. I have contacted them multiple times, and they just keep saying they will send someone out to take care of it. Not only has this not happened, but there is also no way to escalate the problem. Apparently, all calls go to a generic call center, where the only step those call center reps can take is just to make another note requesting a pickup. I asked to speak to a supervisor, and there are no supervisors there, only call center reps, so there is no way to escalate the problem. And yet, they will not credit my account. I am paying for the service of timely pickups, and am not receiving the service that was paid for. Isn't paying for a service that isn't received a variation of theft or fraud?

    In reference to complaint ID ********* your comment was that a route supervisor would reach out to me today. And yet, here we are, 6:30pm, and zero contact from anyone. Tomorrow will be 2 weeks since the original pickup was missed. I have had zero action taken on this. I am paying for a service that is not provided, despite multiple attempts on my part (and abolutely none by the business) to remedy the situation. Please give me a detailed explanation as to how paying for a service that is not provided isn't theft or fraud?

    The route supervisor did contact this resident and did pick up her recycling.  He also addressed the matter that she was putting her items out on the incorrect week, however she still maintained it was the correct week.  We also emailed her a copy of the collection calendar.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********* and you are definitely confusing me with someone else. While I did speak with a route supervisor, the recycling schedule was never discussed, I wasn't told I was putting it out on the wrong week, and therefore I absolutely never insisted that I was. The conversation I had with the route supervisor in no way mentioned a schedule or calendar. Please check the email address that the calendar was supposedly mailed to, as I am very curious where it was supposedly sent. Especially since the calendar was never part of my complaint, and I am quite capable of finding the calendar on the business website, and have actually done so multiple times to ensure I have the correct week. 

    Additionally, my issue aside from a missed pickup was that multiple attempts to resolve the situation through the customer service number went absolutely nowhere, and it wasn't until I filed this complaint, two weeks later, that someone actually called me. So, it seems that a BBB complaint is the only way to get this company to actually address an issue.

    For the last two weeks (1/2 and 1./8 2024)my trash has not been picked up. I did not report the firstoccurrenceas I assumed it was an oversight. After thesecondmissed pick up (today) I contacted customerservice and explained the situation, I also asked that a supervisor contact me back. Early this afternoon, I noticedthe lids of my can were open and upon inspection only a few bags were removed.I had also contacted the township, who later informedme that they receivedan email back from County Hauling stating that my cans were "loaded" with cat litter. I am not sure how they know what is in my bags of trash, and even if so, whatwas I not contactedif there was an issue? I think itsfair to expect twice the garbagewhen it is not picked up for two weeks in a row. I have two96 gallon wheeled cans that are compatible with garbagetruck lifts, The cans weigh 38 pounds a piece empty and I weighed them today. one can weighs 78 pounds and the other 85. Their own customerservicetells me I am allowed no more than 10 bags of trash weighing 35 pounds each so I am clearly under the limit. I have the same trash every week and nothing has changed so I am curious why there is a refusal to provide the serviceI pay for. I have still not been contactedby a supervisor and wish to speak with someoneon this matter.

    County Hauling never sent a statement for garbage services. Sent a bill through the mail after 3 missed billing cycles. Sent bill to an incorrect email. Never received notification of quarterly bills but did receive a cumulative bill. Called the company and they said that they sent it to wrong email, no other notification of payment, but the current payment is my responsibility. No notification when service started in the township that we would not receive bills.

    I pay for trash pickup service. As part of this service, they are supposed to take one large item per week. I placed a full size mattress out for collection the night before service on 11/16/23. The hauler did not take the mattress. I called the office on 11/17/23 to inform them they didn't take it. I was told it would be taken care of right away. They never came back.
    The trash hauler came again on 11/25 and did not take the mattress again. This time I immediately walked outside and offered to put the mattress in the trash truck myself. I was told no, they would finish the street then come right back. They lied and never returned. I have called multiple times during this time and it has never been taken away. I have paid for a service I have not received. This is called defrauding the customer. I would like the job finished and financial restitution in the amount of $5,000 for fees and penalties. It has been 10 days, and 2 missed cycles of trash hauling. The mattress remains in my yard at the curb.

    My trash has not been picked up for 4 weeks and I have called 7 times to request it to be picked up with 3 escalations to a supervisor. Since there are no direct escalations to supervisors I have to assume they actually send them.

    This is absolutely unacceptable and an embarrassment to what I’m assuming you are trying to pass off as customer service. Using the excuse that the supervisors “travel” a lot is shameful considering in the modern day we have cellphones and mobile internet.

    I plan to bring these inactions up at the next commissioner meeting and hope they choose to go with another trash service.

    In the meantime please get this issue resolved and give us a partial refund as you are not performing the duties laid out in the invoice that we paid.

    County Hauling employee threatened to not pick up my elderly grandmothers trash because there were too many cars on the street. They told her she would have to start carrying it up the street. And that next week they would NOT be picking it up.

    this is not the first problem. as I actually had to call the company next month because they did not pick her trash up but did the rest of the street.

    County Hauling started our garbage pick up at beginning of year. We received an invoice at the very beginning, but then that ended. I then started getting delinquent notices and hit with late charges and threats of termination of service. Statements are not being issued and this is a quarterly bill, it is impossible to remember to pay a bill that isn’t monthly and threatening letters can make it to my home but not a statement.
    I also noticed not all of my garbage is being collected. I had 2 small kitchen bags in a can and they took only took one. The amount I had did not exceed the amount we can leave out. This resulted in an animal getting in can and it spreading garbage everywhere. I had no idea they didn’t take the other bag bc no reason they shouldn’t take both. This has been a problem, they only take part of the garbage but want all of the money. All my neighbors have been complaining, this is a huge problem.

    I want a refund of any late charges, I want statements mailed to me and I want all the bags taken from the can.

    On July 11, I called county hauling regarding a 900$ bill I discovered at our neighbors house (our grandmother) who passed away. We were going through her old mail and found the bill, which was addressed to her with her address. It had my name and address in the description but never received it at my address. I called immediately to try to get the situation rectified and explained I never received at my address. They did not care and would not remove late fees (which was 80% of the bill) which I never received. I paid $347 dollars to not get sent to collections and they sent me a confirmation email with the wrong name and address again. I called back and they changed it. I set up a payment plan to be deducted on the 22nd of every month only to keep the account in good standing until I could talk to a supervisor or manager (which they said they do not have one in the building). A week goes by and I get a call from their collections department regarding my bill, she confirmed I made a payment and would put a request in to take off the late fees, they denied with no explanation. I accepted as a loss as I received no calls/emails from a supervisor regarding my account. The next month they decided to deduct the money on September 8. 12 days after my payment plan authorized them to do so. I called, they told me to email the supervisor. Never got a response. Called again this morning to check on the email status and if there was anything I could do to talk to a higher up, they told me no. They also said the wrong name on the account again, saying it had us listed as a tenant on somebody else’s account, we own our home so this is not the case. She said she’d look into that. Long story short they have been giving me the run around for 2 months and I need help getting this rectified. Thank you.
