    I would not recommend using Martin Lawn Services for any purpose. I signed a contract on February 24, 2023 for a fence for my back yard. **** **********************, owner, signed the contract stating that the work would be started on May 15, 2023 and completed in 7 working days. As of today, November 17, 2023 the work has not been completed. Mr. ********************** continued to lie and say that the project would be completed. Then he said he couldn't get the materials, which was the cause for the delay. So we told him to order an available product to complete the project. He said that he would but never did. I have spoken to many in my community and this isn't an isolated incident.

    I would NOT recommend using Martin Lawn Services LLC in Aliquippa, PA. I mean RUN, don’t WALK! We signed a contract with the owner of Martin Lawn Services (MLS) may 23rd of 2019. Contract: Install New 20'x20' patio, steps, seating wall, fire pit, lighting, and trash can pad. We were required to pay 50% at contract signing and work to be completed August 12th, 2019, 7 days after the work started. I did not see the owner shoup up to the job site to check on the progress or quality until the final payment was requested October 20th, 2019, well over 2 months from when the job was to be completed. The bigger problem started a few months after the initial work was complete. We noticed the top caps on the seating wall started coming unglued. A few months later, other top seating caps started coming unglued. It was at this time I started to notice the reason for the top caps coming loose. The entire seating wall (not a structural retaining wall) started falling over backwards. The base of the foundation for the original seating wall was not done correctly and there was no real structure holding up the wall. This took 2 years to figure out what was going on during the peak of COVID. On April 3rd of 2022 I emailed the owner. May 23rd, the owner responded and said they would come out Saturday May 28th. When the owner looked at the wall and said, and I quote, "I am embarrassed, that should not have happened." I said, "good as I wouldn't think a wall less than 2 years old that we rarely sit on should be falling over." The owner went on to say, "don't sit on it as it is not safe." Also made the point to say, "and your warranty was only 1 year." I found that to be VERY strange as their quote and official contract doesn't mention any warranty time!. So, here we are September, 4th, 2022, and still no offer to fix the wall or to send his worker for me to pay to get it fixed. We will NEVER recommend this company to anyone. I hope this helps others.
