    Martin Lawn Services had me sign a contract for work I needed on my property on 9/26/22. This work was to include building a retaining wall, remove, replace, and haul away fencing, and to install a gate on my property. According to the contract it was to commence on or around 11/16/22. That date came and went. Mr. M***** then advised that his crew would come in December of 2022. That never materialized. I called Mr. M***** in March of this year after not hearing from him when this job would commence in the spring of this year. He advised they would be out in April, then May, and June. He has never called me and his customer service is terrible. To this day I have no work performed and Mr. M***** collected $3200 from me and my wife. All I need to resolve this matter is for them to repay my $3200. Please help me in this matter to get it resolved. This is ridiculous!

    I signed a contract on April 13, 2022 with M***** Lawn Services (Doug M*****) for deck and hardscaping work to be done at my home in Cranberry Township, PA. I mailed Doug a 1/3rd deposit on 4/13/22 for $4,150.00 which he deposited on 4/19/22. The contract stated work was to “commence on or about 9/1/22”. I have extensive documentation of requests for updates and Doug’s replies – always stringing me along. When the work would not start by Thanksgiving, I requested the return of my deposit which Doug agreed to do. He then delayed paying me of which I have documentation. To date, he has not paid me. ***** ******* 4/4/23

    E mail estimate was sent. I liked it so I went to the office to sign a contract on April 14, 2021. I PREPAID for lawn cutting for the season (28 cuts/ season), retaining wall to replace a wall that had taken down and landscaping to the front hill. I was 73.5 years old and really unable to manage lawn cutting, but especially the cutting of grass on a fairly steep front hill. Landscaping of said hill would resolve this big problem for me. It has taken One year for Any work to be done. That was the retaining wall some 3 weeks back. No landscaping has been scheduled, let alone done. I am paying someone $30 to cut the hill as I have been cited, by the borough, for this long grass and if it is not acceptable to them a $1000.00 fine plus costs. Landscaping would have and will, take care of this. I suppose it comes under Acts of God, but his labor force was compromised by the Covid 19 restrictions, is his reason. I did not get 28 lawn cuts last year, no wall and no landscaping last year. I am now on my way to 75 years old. The wall has been worked on, but not what I expected. He still has Weather reasons why I have no landscaping. Now our texting is snarky on both sides, but I am so tired of waiting. It is just too hard for me to manage the hill.
