    Appointment with Dr ********************** Saver was arranged promptly. **** B came to my home to inspect crawl space and make recommendations. He was professional, knowledgeable and patient answering my questions. Highly recommend this service!

    We received a quote in Nov 2024 for $21,370 to insulate our crawlspace. The representative told us that we needed a sump pump plus a 10 year contract for maintenance of the pump. The were high pressure sales tactics, a fancy brochure, and a video he asked us to watch. A friend who is a building inspector went down into the crawlspace to check. He said that there was no evidence of flooding. There was a small amount of water in one corner which did not rise to the level of reporting. There was dust on top of the current plastic barrier, no watermarks or snail tracks on the concrete walls. There had been recent heavy rainfall and we live on a hill. Our friend said that the small amount of water would drain by itself. He also said that the photographs we were shown were angled to exaggerate the amount of damage.We had two other quotes. One for $3,134 and one for $5,000. Our friend told us that the quote for $3,134 most accurately depicted the work that needed doing. We chose that company, and according to our friend they did a very good ****** husband and I are elderly, so I assume the company was banking on our not going down into the crawl space to check for ourselves. I believe a $16,000 - $18,000 price difference is quite predatory.
