If I could do give a negative star, that is what they earned. This has by far been the most stressful experience. When you first get contacted by then, they promise everything. Their prices are great. Then they throw you out into the middle of the ocean and let you fend for yourself. (so to speak) .. two days before the move - at least three different people called and no one seemed to know what they were doing. The day of the move, the guy showed up without a moving blankets, straps etc. Then they finally call me and said they will have another mover call me. The newer mover calls and he lies, he will be there the following night, then it was the next day, 9 am, 11 am, 1 pm. 3 pm. and finally at 6:50 p.m. he shows up. alone. However was prepared and this guy was great, packed, wrapped etc. Then the bombshell where they charge you and then never say (maybe it was in their long winded contact) the movers charge you too. So now I am stuck to have to pay over $2,000 dollars more than quoted. They are trying to say the cubic feet is more. However, we have less stuff. Because we were bringing back a razor, they had to get another trailer. This is not our fault, they knew this. There is so much more negative I can write. The stress level I cannot even say more. So, if you want to be stressed out, deal with unprofessional and unethical people, then use this company.. Oh and they are a broker.. They are horrible and should not even be in business.. To this point, I cannot get a hold of anyone in the company, they are always calling me back and still have not. I admit, I was angry on the phone, but wouldn't you after being jerked around numerous times?Northern Moving Systems

****** *****, We're so sorry to hear that you were not satisfied with our services. The only reason that our volume charges increase is if you add additional inventory during the pickup process. We are a carrier just like the big three Allied, Mayflower, and United. We also possess coordinator authority. We operate no differently than all the major national moving companies. We have outsourced this complaint for investigation, as we do any others. The investigations can take up to two weeks. We will return to post the results here. I need to tell about my wonderful experience with Northern moving system at ******** in ***************. I had to move the contents of 2 lockers back to my home state in *********. I had used another mover years ago, but they were booked. A friend recommended Northern moving system and they did not disappoint me. I had a truck reservation to get a large truck in the area, but unfortunately the truck never arrived due to reservation breakdown. At the same time, Northern moving system arrived at the storage locker on time but I had no truck. I had to go to almost ***** to get the truck which killed the day and was a huge problem. Now that event killed my day and plans and brought fear in delays for the movers. Not this time, Northern moving system stepped up big time and early the next day with 4 great guys (Yosdanny, ****** B, ****** and I cannot remember name of the 4th guy). They did a great job as I had planned to throw away old mattresses and trash away the previous day, they took care of that as well. All 5 stars from me as I do not make reviews very often but they deserve this high rating so use them for your needs. Their customer service is top notch and follow up on all your need. We just moved yesterday. I was dreading the move for weeks. Fortunately there was no reason for it. Starting with *****, who came over to give us the estimate, all the way to every mover, everything went even better than what was promised. The movers; Zeke, Tyrell, and ******* were amazing. Not only did they make the whole move easy and seamless, but they were so incredibly helpful and absolutely lovely!! Every box and piece of furniture was wrapped carefully and delivered and placed in the proper rooms. They made moving easy, stress free and at times even fun! My husband ******, my daughter *** and I, *******, were all impressed and happy with all aspects of the move!Northern Moving Systems

We had the pleasure of having Zeke, Tyrell, and *** as our movers. They were efficient and worked very quickly. They took care to protect all of our belongings and thought out of the box to ensure that everything fit. We have read a lot of horror stories about moving companies and are grateful to have chosen Northern moving system for our move.Northern Moving Systems

These guys were great. Extremely efficient and very careful with all my belongings. Very patient in where we wanted different items to be placed. I also liked the fact that the fee was determined based on items moved. Some companies start dragging their feet during the move to add on additional fees. This company does not. I highly recommend Northern moving system for anyone needing a moving company in *************. From the first call through the pickup and move/deliver; everyone I dealt with was very professional and helpful. The movers, ******, **** and ***** were great!! They arrived on time as stated, worked quickly and safely. They removed all furniture and packed/wrapped everything so there would be no damage.
