      Very happy with *********************** at Secure Data Recovery! I had an old external hard drive that I would occasionally back up files to, but I also used it as an only source for old files off of long ago computers. Plugged it in one day to find that it had been corrupted - and literally almost cried because all of my kids baby pictures and family vacation pictures for years and years were stored on that hard drive. Sent it to **** at Secure Data Recovery and he recovered all of the files, put them on a brand new, secure hard drive and sent it back to me! Great Service!!!

      From the time I was referred to Secure Data and ****, regarding my External HD recovery, I got the best service and communication from **** and his team. Secure Data and **** in particular, has been professional and honest about data recovery and performed a terrific job of recovering all (*****%) of the data from my 3TB WD HD. I had close to ****** (for real) pictures, records, contracts, and personal files that were corrupted. I am ever grateful to **** and team. Give them a tey with confidence.

      When a major data project is 75% done and the hard drive wont open, ******************* at Secure Data was calm, reassuring, and knowledgeable. One of the first questions he asked was my computer year and make - a 2012 IMac. He then asked me if I needed to keep the monitor because sometimes with this model, the monitor cracks when the hard drive is removed. He knew the possible issue with a 12-year-old computer. I stopped looking for any other data recovery service. The complete data recovery was quick and I was reassured and kept informed during the process.

      Although the data I could not be recovered, I appreciate the responsiveness as well as the in depth explanation as to why. Will definitely leverage this company in the future (hopefully not) should I require recovery services.

      As I have a small SDD in my laptop, I keep work and non-work files on two different (spinning disk) external hard drives.The Verbatim, which might be 10 years old, was turning off on its own for a few months. Disconnecting and plugging it back in would turn it back on, no problem. MS would do a scan and find nothing to fix. In the back of my mind, I knew that I should be backing up both drives but every month other frivolities, like food, would empty my wallet so I put off buying a big SSD.Then, one day, it would not open and invited me to reformat the drive. I knew that would wipe out everything, which went from decades of digital pictures to tax returns for myself and some friends. I called Verbatim and they recommended Secure Data.Now good luck is back on track as I was connected with a fabulous *********************************** who patiently walked me through the process and whose very demeanor calmed my anxiety over the potential loss of irreplaceable data. I was delighted to learn that SDR has their own lab in *******, only two hours from where I live.Once the initial scan was done, **** perhaps anticipated that I might be shocked by the price. And, if that is what he was thinking, he was not wrong as it was Cdn $2300. Shocking, yes, but worth every ***** now that I am back in possession of ALL of my files as some of that data is priceless.As we learn more from our mistakes than we do our successes, backing up data from both of my external hard drives is now a daily habit (another C$350 spent on a 2Tb SSD making that a lot easier than it was 35 years ago when I a PS II landed on my desk).

      A few years back my wife dropped a portable hard drive. The drive contained 20 years of photos she had saved from family gatherings. Those photos were priceless to her. The hard drive was broken and she was heartbroken. Secure Data Recovery saved the day. I was able to locate information about Secure Data Recovery from a ****** search. ********************* was very helpful and very knowledgable. He provided in-depth information about the process. So, I sent the hard drive for them to inspect. In a very short time period, I received communication that they could save the information. They explained about the damage and how they could recover the data. We were able to recover about 98% of the drive. Less than 2 weeks later, I received a drive that contained my wife's lifetime of memories. SHE WAS SO HAPPY! The whole process was simple and easy to follow. The communication was excellent. I highly recommend this company to anyone who finds themselves in the same situation. MONEY WELL SPENT!!!
