We refinanced with Nations Lending in August 2021. In our discussions with the agent that we were working with, we made very clear that we were looking to lower our monthly payment and if we were just going to end up with an escrow shortage the next year and end up paying more again that we were not interested in refinancing for another 30 years. Over several conversations the agent guaranteed us over and over that the way Nations lending works with the payment, it assures that an escrow shortage would not happen and this is what we would be paying, if not possibly less in the future. This again, was talked about several times. However, this past June 2022, we received an escrow shortage notice from Nations Lending of $2,975.80 and our monthly payment went up by almost $300 more a month. This now put us at a higher monthly payment than we had with our previous mortgage provider. When I tried to reach out to our agent, I got no response. When I recently tried to call, the phone is shut off. I have no idea if he works there anymore. We were bold face lied to about this mortgage. We were repeatedly given false promises for Nations Lending to gain a loan. I have never regretted a decision more in my life and this situation was truly unprofessional and dishonest.

      Nations Lending Corporation (“NLC”) received
the concern filed by **** ******* on 08/23/2022. A member of NLC management
team contacted all parties involved to get a better understanding of the
concern. Ms. ******* was concerned that she had an escrow shortage. She received
a refund from her insurance company that was intended to be deposited into her
escrow to cover the shortage. After reviewing this file, no evidence was found
that her loan originator guaranteed that she would not have an escrow shortage.
We have discussed these findings with Ms. ******* and we consider this matter
      resolved and closed.

We started the Rome process for a refy I got them all the information they needed they told me we'd close and 2.5 to 3 weeks then they told me not to pay the mortgage not to pay the car payment not to pay our 2 loans because because we would be closed and all that would be paid then then things kept getting dragged out, than they kept asking for more things 2 days before closing So we drove back-and-forth to the bank 2 days in a row twice in one day it's far from our house it's not close I finally got everything done we were supposed to close and then they're running around trying to get things figured out and get it closed by the time it was supposed to be and then they screwed it all up then they tell me I have to pay the mortgage because it's late and that's the only way they get The refy done we paid it and then they Told us oh we can't give you the one because but your payment was late I have all the emails and text messages stating for us not to pay those bills so now not Only are we out the money for the appraisal but we can't get alone because of the fact that they made us wait to pay our bill sir bill's credit has dropped over a 100 points because of the fact that the car wasn't paid the 2 loans weren't pait's weren't paid so now we're in Trouble because everything is behind they guaranteed us the loan. I have the text messages and emails to prove. If we don't resolve this quickly it will become a legal matter

      Nations Lending Corporation (“NLC”) received
the concern filed by ***** ********** on 09/09/2022. A member of NLC management
team contacted all parties involved to get a better understanding of the
concern. Mr. ********** was concerned that his late mortgage payment was
caused by NLC. His wife, Mrs. **********, signed an Obligation to Continue with
Monthly Payments in May. Her loan originator advised her not to spend the funds
for her June mortgage payment in case the refinance was not completed in June,
and she would need to make that payment. The refinance did not happen in June
and the mortgage was not paid until July for June’s payment. It is the customer’s
responsibility to continue making their current mortgage payments until their refinance
transaction is complete. I have discussed these findings with ***** **********
and we consider this matter resolved and closed.

I came to nations lending to refinance my home. I was told that we would be able to close on as little as 14 days but no longer than 30. We are now reachine 45 days! They loan officer wont return calls and text, continues to ask for documents that i have already provided, did not schedule the correct appraisal, and scheduled a late foundation inspection that continues to postpone the process. They also asked me to not pay my current mortgage payment because they would have the new loan closer in time and now im paying late fees as well as playong catch up on 2 months of mortgage payments!
