I was recommended to speak with Lee K**** from Nations Lending. I sent him an email over 48 hours ago and have not heard back. Terrible business. I’m glad I looked them up on BBB because now, I don’t even want to give them my business after seeing all the negative reviews and low stars. It’s good that Lee never emailed me back. I dodged a bullet here.

I applied for a Heloc with a different bank. My credit info was sold, and I been getting Spam Calls from Nations for the past 3 weeks. What's crazy, I live in NC I've even got a spamm when filling out my complaint here. What really triggered me, is that I initially thought it was multiple companies. But Nations calls over from the state Charlotte, Greensboro, Raleigh and local numbers. When you call those numbers back. Guess what, they are disconnected. Nobody leaves a voicemail. I told them repeatedly on the phone, when I first started to get calls from there. I've gotten over 70 Spamm calls and this is no exaggeration. Please stop calling me. My review also lines up with another review that was reported here. Please stop calling me, I don't want your business

Nations lending is nothing but a bunch of liars and cheats!! They and their affiliate Chicago title are both not credible . From the monuments we started using them until now after selling our house we still have issues! Used them for a forbearance while my loan was in good standing. All said and done they did a partial claim with hud, slid the paperwork past us, and at closing of my sale found out I had a hud promissory note. Don’t know whoseworse Nations Lending or HUD for doing this to people as a result of covid. You were supposed to help not hurt people!! Don’t do business with them! They will tell you what you want to hear and do the total opposite. Nothing but liars and cons??????

They make you think you are getting a completely different service than you actually are. You aren’t getting g a loan, or assistance on your debt. What they are doing, is charging you a fee with interest from the start. Then you stop paying your loans so your credit score drops, then they “negotiate” with them. They aren’t paying a penny. I tried to cancel, and cant get ahold of them. So I tried emailing them, and they continuously tell Me they need full name, last 4 of social security number, DOB, email and phone number to verify. I give this info in the email, and they reply back saying they need the info to verify the account, as if I never gave it to them. I have not made a single payment, nor have I received any payment from them, yet they are not sending me emails threatening to turn me in to collections. What a complete joke!

Please read and proceed when using this company. My family was looking to start their dream by doing a HELOC to purchase land for future retirement. When we called Nation's Lending, who we used in the past, we were required to work with Joseph (Joey) ****** ***** ********  The entire process with him was a nightmare. He would not discuss any options with us and after several months presented us with a loan offer that was completely unacceptable. We asked several times to discuss the terms. When we refused to take the offer he contacted both the listing agent and our agent to inform them of our personal information. He stated that we would never get a loan through anyone else and that we were not financially responsible. According to both agents, "he crossed the line and should have his NMLS license revoked. Joey sent us several text messages where he stated if we didn't take his offer he would make sure we never got help again. When we stated we got a better offer through Discover he said we would never get that loan. Fast forward, Nations Lending had a duplicate line on our title for the same loan, making it appear that we had 2 mortgages (Joey never told us this but we fixed it ourselves). I contacted Joey's supervisor (because Joey is a "Producing Branch Manager") Tim *******, who said he would speak with Joey and get back to us. Tim ******* never got back to us nor did we get any resolution to our complaint. We have now purchased the land, without the help of Nations Lending. I cannot emphasize enough that Joseph (Joey) ****** crossed several ethical lines and should you come across him with a loan you are attempting, be cautious. We were literally scared that he would try to steal our identify, since he has all of our information, because of how threatening he was when we refused to take his loan offer. Please be cautious.

Worst mortgage servicer ever! We are unfortunately using them as our servicer because we were first time homebuyers and they were our best option at the time. They never communicate with you, they waste your time, and getting an agent on the phone is almost impossible most times. When you do get an agent, they're absolutely no help to you at all. They don't even send you notices until it's too late or in the case of potential foreclosure, it's in the paper for everyone to see (and then you find out about it). Miscommunication is very real with this place. Avoid this place if you can-its best to go to a lender you can actually talk to face to face.

We have our mortgage through Nations. They made the mistake of paying the wrong taxes with our escrow account. This put us in the negative for our escrow by a five figure amount. They then forgot to pay our property taxes and were delinquent for quite some time. Now they've decided to report to the credit bureaus that our loan value has increased since our escrow is so overdrawn. I've had so many calls with them to fix everything, each time I have to go back through the problem and ask them what they're doing to fix it. They never have an answer, they never communicate, and care zero about the issues this has done to our credit and ability to sell our property. They're beyond frustrating and seem to have zero competent people working for them. Please do not use them. Their rates are mediocre at best, their service is awful, and overall their new website design is junk. It's amazing they're still in business. I'm usually one to give people time to correct their mistakes, but we are now at week 13 and they're still not there yet. Wish there was a zero star option as that's what they truly deserve. Please use caution when considering dealing with this place as they do not care about you and have zero reason to.
