    Unjustified rent increases every 6 months without the required 30 day notice. Our rent increased $20 every 6 months. Our son's rent went up by $150 in a year.

    Do not rent here they definitely will raise your rent and make it impossible for you to get your property back I won my auction and once they realized it was me they voided my win. Now I lost things I cant even get back. This place is a joke and I hope they get shut down for stealing peoples property and money

    Tenants unit went to auction due to non payment on rent and fees. She attempted to bid on her own unit, to avoid paying what she owed, in the auction, which is a direct violation of the auction policy. Her bid was voided and the unit was purchased by another buyer. I have looked into this and everything was done legally. The tenant attempted to get around paying what she owed by bidding on her own unit. We never want a tenant to lose their items, but this is how the system works when a tenant does not pay and a unit goes to auction. Thank you

    The tenant complained of rodent damage to her unit, which is covered under insurance in ****. The tenant came in on a promotional rate and she was adjusted to current pricing after promotional period was up, based on market value of a unit her size. The two issues are not related and insurance will help her with her claim. If she has questions on that process, we iwll be glad to help her. Thank you

    Thiss a non credible and a fraudulent business enterprise. I was a tenant for a year, just went I received my goods and my unit was full to capacity. Thats when they compromise my unit locked and stole everything of value within my unit. I realized there was a thiefs in my unit and called the police to reports the case, but to my greatest surprise I was informed that the surveillance camera at the storage do not record surveillance in the storage unit. Meaning their camera only capture interaction or surveillance on top of the storage unit. That means anyone can walk in to their storage facility and compromise any of the unit and their would be no recording of the crime. I lost over $14,000 worth of goods and property at this facility. Please no one should reading this should rent this storage. Theyre a criminal organization operating!!!

    Tenant reported a break in, but there was no damage to his lock, or the wiring on top of the unit. We fully cooperated with *************** and also provided him direction in which to file an insurance claim, as in the state of ****, a break in is handled by tenants' insurance and the police if tenant files a report. The cameras in the vicinity of his unit also showed no suspicious activity as we went back as far as we could. There was no damage to the unit, making it impossible to determine when exactly a "break in" would have taken place. The staff did what they were supposed to do in this scenario.

    I moved my storage contents from the Westside of Columbus after a six year lease of two units to this storage facility to consolidate two units into one. I travel back and fourth from Georgia. (January 30,2023) The first three months I was charged one price. The price then went from under 100 to 130. On July 2 I went to my storage and to my alarm it was over ran with rodent urine and feces they had shredded decorations within my unit.(I’m a event planner) I notified the manager, and then she made me aware that they had a rodent problem. However, I was never notified prior to seeing my unit destroyed. Now after filing a claim with insurance for my damages.( In which haven’t gotten any response yet) I was send a postcard on August 9, 2023 through the mail stating that my rental fee would be raised to $176.40 as of September 1, 2023. I feel totally scammed and helpless. I’ve already paid movers to move the unit in January. Now you have price gouged me and compromise all of my personal and business belongings.

    space shop self storage is okay. they have a woman working for them name ******* that
    is rude and not professional to the customers. she's sit behind the desk an will not move at all
    to help customer that enter the establishment. you call and she argue with you on the phone with respect. this why I am filing a complaint and low review.
