    The Space Shop Storage, unit ********************************************************************** Aprox April 1, 2025 Paid for 5'x10' unit. Accidently also paid for 5'x5' unit. 1 month each. Paid online with bank card.2 days later and 1st time meeting staff onsite. Explained renting the 5'x5' unit was accidental and needed refund. Refund was issued then by staff, without noticeably witnessing approval by another office. Funds became available next day in bank account.I paid an additional $42 to extend the 10'x5' until May 30th, using same bank card.Aprox 1 week later. Staff told me another customer complained about me and said they will bring a firearm onsite and shoot me. Refused to disclose who the customer was or the reason for deadly threat. Instructed new rule was imposed on me alone that my use of storage unit is limited, yet would not disclose the exacts of this illegal clause.Aprox 1 week later. Told my May pre paid rent is cancelled and I cannot use storage after April 30th. Staff informed me I would not be refunded the $42 until after April 30th and only by paper check delivered via ****. Any attempt at receiving this $42 has not resulted in any refund and employees refuse to refund by original payment method.April 14, 2025. Without any cause, employees said I must vacate the property immediately without my possessions and all rent payments are forfeited. Employees called Emergency ******************************************* I stepped off the property before police arrived.I have received no refunds for the $42, the 2 weeks also and about $1,000 of personal property is missing.I will supply supporting docs later and at your request.

    The company has locked the storage unit. I cannot access my property for 48 hours. 6 weeks remain paid for rent. The employees refuse to refund me. Can this become a legal issue, such as criminal charges for burglary or robbery?

    This tenant was non renewed due to being on property after hours, sleeping in his storage unit, and verbally abusing employees repeatedly. He was warned numerous times about violating his lease but has been very defiant towards staff. We had to call ****** police due to the way he was behaving. ***** had arrangements to have police there while he removed his items so there would be no issues, it was the staff who wanted the police there, due to ******* behavior. We had to even change his access to business hours only due to him spending the night in his unit on Saturday nights. He still has not removed his items as of today. I personally forwarded his refund for **** rent to our corporate office and it has been processed. I explained this process to ***** myself over the phone. He has repeatedly violated his lease and has caused nothing but problems for the staff at ******. The staff there has been very patient as we try to get him out of there peacefully, but he continues to yell and use profanity towards staff. I have attempted to reach out to him but his phone does not receive calls. We even gave him all of April to find a different storage facility but had to ask him to leave sooner due to his behavior and violation of rules. As far as missing items, we have no access to his unit, as he put his own lock on there and we have security cameras everywhere. All we want is a peaceful exit, and for him to leave, his 42 dollars has been processed, and he will receive it by mail. Thank you

    Access to my unit by code was turned off last Saturday at 6pm, with no prior notice. Unit access is 6am to 10pm. The employees singled me out for no legit or factual reasons and no information about any of these accusations has been given to me. 

    Other illegals activities are there. An area on the 1st floor towards the back is obviously used for marijuana cultivation, detected by smell alone. This is illegal not on my part, yet the employees seem to approve of residential activities by other customers. A night I departed at approx ****** a car was still on the property. I only by coincidence passed the property from the street at approx 2am and the same car was then finally leaving. I personally do not care and would rather not involve myself in what is otherwise a benign act of other people in how I seemed influenced. But I am singled out for harassment alone, and I only desired short term storage in what was previously a "convenient" site.

    I have not received the $42 paper check refund in any way. I still do not understand why the refund could not be refunded into my original payment account. To mail a paper check is not adherence to company policy as the employee is falsely claiming now. As I stated, the refund for a different unit was processed quickly and available in my account the next day. Obviously, the mailing of a check is only meant as harassment towards me. 

    *********************************************************;       Unfortunately I could not recover the audio from recording in slow-mo. It is again obvious not the way a company should instruct the employees to act towards a customer. I only inquired about my refund and immediately after I turned on my video, they became irate and ***** and threatening me with police presence. I was breaking no law or any unlawful act was displayed by me. They displayed rude behaviors to only still taunt me.

    If they only refunded my account for the total cancelled lease, 30 final days plus the additional 15 days as separately imposed, total about $65.00, it would be an exceptionally easy resolution as far as I can consider at this point.

    I am rejecting this response because: 

    The paper check  which was forced on me by duress, was not timely issued and is for the incorrect amount.

    I have already discussed why a paper check was retaliation due to prejudice on the staff's part.

    This has caused major inconvenience for me. I cannot readily transport and store my personal items in the unit. Although the unit is still paid for and rented by myself, the staff locked it to make it inaccessible.

    Calling 911 was inexcusable by staff. No reason existed but to harass and defamation of myself.

    I deserve payment for time and property loss, punitive damages and refund for all current month due the locked unit. This will possibly need further action.

    I should had called 911 when staff threatened I was to be shot on the property.

    This is harassment of minority and persons with disabilities. They taunted me and laughed the day they called the police. It is because I am on the autism spectrum. I posted their crude and defaming behavior on *******. They became very irrational when I began recording them and claimed I was not allowed. One employee bent over to drop a cigarette, to expose himself from the backside to me. They should lose their jobs for this, at minimum.

    The check issued was for the Month of May, which it should have been. Never once when communicating with the staff did, they mention one thing about ******* disability. The comment about bringing a gun was made by a tenant, not the staff. I personally talked to that tenant, and he was warned that he would be evicted if any inappropriate behavior took place. ***** was the subject of complaints from staff as well as tenants due to his behavior while on the property. His items are there secured, and he is free to move out at his own will. This has been explained to him numerous times, and his items are still there. Staff left the office to get away from ***** has he was verbally aggressive towards them numerous times, which led to his non-renewal, and they called me each time it happened. We just want him to vacate peacefully, which he refuses to do. He has till the end of April to vacate the facility. Again, his check was cut, and his items are there for him to get, nothing is stopping that. Thank you

    I paid a $100 deposit to clean out a storage unit auction. The contract for the unit dictates the terms that need to be fulfilled to get my deposit back. All terms have been fulfilled. Arbitrary rules imposed by people who have no right to impose such rules were added in, after the fact, supposedly 'allowing' this employee to steal my $100. This isn't how contracts work, and she has no right to keep my money. I didn't sign some willy-nilly contract with these buffoons, so how they got it through their heads they have the authority to go above and around this contract is beyond me.

    I have video evidence of me fulfilling my obligation (removing all the property from the locker and leaving it in broom swept condition within 72 hours). not only do I have video evidence, the half-wit employee who smugly laughed in my face about how many cameras they have, also has video evidence. The police, who I called, and she LIED to also witnessed me fulfilling my obligations. This is not a legal issue, and has nothing to do with the police. This is just to add to the list of witnesses I have that have seen me fulfill my contractual obligation.

    The employees name is *****, her boss is ******* ********* ******.

    I asked the manager and employee for copies of my contract and they refused to give me anything, which kind of goes against record keeping requirements, right?

    Mr. *** purchased and auction unit from our facility. The auction policy that was signed states the buyer has 48 hours to remove all items from the facility or they forfeit the $100 cleaning deposit. While *** did remove all items from the unit, he left the majority of the contents on our property exterior. The manager discovered the debris the following morning and waited until 1pm to dispose of the items herself. *** never communicated with the manager to obtain permission to abandon items and arrived at the site around 3pm to collect his $100 deposit. The request was denied, as he did not follow the auction policies set by Space Shop and Lockerfox. *** became hostile towards the manager and demanded he receive the deposit as he explained that he planned to have unauthorized non-tenants to come pick up the abandoned items. He was then asked to leave the property to avoid further escalation. *** refused, and the police were called. Once the police arrived, they did require *** to leave the property and we proceeded to file a no trespass to prevent further disruption.

    Since the event, an agreement has been made with Mr. *** and the $100 auction deposit was returned via cash to him on 11/27/22 despite our legal rights to retain the deposit.
