    WPX3400 Gas Pressure Washer Bought this product from ****** and the machine was defected out of the box. On/Off switch is broken. Machine will not work. No gas or oil is in the machine, The switch was broken. Called custom service many times and emails no response . Cant get it fixed. Bad customer service and will not fix my machine. They say i have a 30 day warranty but i cant get them to response to my many calls and emails . Can the Better Business Bureau help me get my power washer fixed pleases.

    I've never dealt with a product that had such horrible customer service. Westinghouse outsources service calls to a third party, who claims they've informed Westinghouse and that I'll get an immediate phone call. The agent said she would expedite the claim but that's been nonsense. On my fourth phone call I was told it was impossible to speak directly to Westinghouse. Even though I have a case number, customer service asks me the same lame questions - phone #, address, etc. I asked them why and they said because Westinghouse doesn't share the claim information. I received an email yesterday, telling me to check the oil level... Nobody has called and I have little trust anybody ever will. I had already taken it to the ONLY service center within 50 miles(I live in a metro area of 250,000). I told that center that I'd get them a claim number when Westinghouse provided me one(which has yet to happen). He also told me the likely problem with generator was Ethynol in the gas. I let him know Westinghouse literature says 10% Ethynol is OK.
    My symptoms were a unit that would shut down, shortly after it started. I bought it brand new and was lucky to get 2 hours out of it. There is a drain tube for the carburator and that screw was loose. Gas ran out of tube onto my truck. When I discussed this with the call center, I was told to tighten that screw, requiring me to go inside the unit. When I told this to the gentleman at the service center, he said the warranty is void if I go inside the unit! Yet I'm told by Westinghouse to do the work myself...
    Fortunately, I'd bought the unit at ***** within the last 30 days. They said they'd accept the return with a 20% restocking fee. I was willing to eat the $200 loss($1,000 generator,) which I considered better than the total loss I was going to experience with Westinghouse. Westinghouse has given me no reason to expect I'll ever get a callback, so I'm confident I made the right choice.

    Do not buy this product ever. I used it 3 times in less then 6 months and the last time I had to d a full carb cleaning. I go to get the warranty and another pressure washer but they said they don't replace they only send parts out for me myself to fix. They sent me a pull cord so I put it on and like I assumed before the engine is junk. I can't turn it over at all. So a year later dealing with customer service and I don't have a new one. Buy from someone that has good customer service and someone that stand behind the warranty

    Westinghouse 20v grass trimmer with other tools. Model LBT20. I bought this a couple of summers ago in a combination of 2 other tools, battery and charger. Everything was working great......until I used the grass trimmer, not the hedge trimmer. After 5 minutes I noticed the line was not feeding. The Spool Cover was missing. I looked everywhere for it, I raked up the grass in hopes of finding it. Nope. I am still looking for it. Last week I decided to buy a Spool Cover From westinghouse. They took the info and sent me an email on Monday after the weekend. The email just confirmed, "they were helping me". Today I chatted online with Juan, he told me there was no part that I could buy.Nice! I then called westinghouse and gave them my Case No. I explained to the person on the phone that it is really stupid to not sell the Spool Cap, but you sell the the part that holds the string for $3.99. If you do not have the Spool Cap the thing will not work. Further more, westinghouse's address on the tool is not where they make their stuff, those buildings are all vacant, the stuff comes from china. So, if you do not have the spool cap your weed eater is garbage.Nice! So, I found the part on ebay: Fits For Hyper Tough Spool Trimmer Line & Spool Cap Cover Replacement Kit . Look around and you see the spool is exactly like westinghouse. The one I bought had a couple of spools and the cover, under 10 bucks for shipping and the item. Chengsi is also a brand that used the same chinese company as westinghouse. It is just awful that we have to deal with a company that carries the brand westinghouse and they spoof us just like the spam calls we get on our phones into thinking they are legitimate.

    I have a brand new Westinghouse Outdoor Power Equipment ***** **** **** **** **** **** ****** ******** ********* (Cost $3,284.94) that has never started. It’s been five months. Here’s the timeline of events.
    Received 10/1923
    Unpacked 10/26/23
    Assembled 11/10/23
    - Would not start
    Called Westinghouse Service Hotline on 11/12/23
    - Ticket ********, was told I would receive a return call, no return call received
    - Called later in the day on 11/12/23, told I would be escalated for return call, no return call received
    - Called on 11/18, was told I would receive a return call, no return call received
    - Called on 11/19, asked for a new ticket, was told that my original ticket would be escalated, no return call received
    11/20/23 - Gave up on calling Service Hotline, took generator to a Westinghouse Service Center
    ***** ***** ****** **** ****** *** ************* ** Approx 12/5/23 – Informed by ***** ***** ****** that that the Generator had a bad carburetor and that they contacted Westinghouse
    Approx 1/5/23 – ***** ***** ****** was Informed that Westinghouse had told them there was a back order on carburetors and it would not be shipped until early February
    Approx. 2/15/24 – Called ***** ***** ****** and was informed that no carburetor had been delivered and no communication had been sent, asked the representative at ***** ***** ****** to send another email to Westinghouse to get an update
    2/28/24 – Checked with ***** ***** ****** and no carburetor had been delivered and no response to the email they had sent Westinghouse.
    ***** ***** ****** has been responsible and done their best with this problem. They did state that they n longer wan to be a Westinghouse Service Center due to their poor customer support.
    I paid $3,284.94 for a brand new generator almost 5 months ago and it has never started.

    January 26,2023, I purchased a Westinghouse WPX 2700 gas pressure washer thru Amazon which I used for less than twenty hours. When I went to use it again it would not start. I contacted Westinghouse and was provided a case number ******** regarding possible warranty issue. As of January 2024, I have not gotten any response from Westinghouse addressing my problem.

    Horrible experience. Generator wasn't working and they won't respond to any warranty calls. As others have mentioned, Westinghouse has hired an outside answering service. The phones are answered, giving the illusion that help is on the way. But it's a scam because nobody at Westinghouse will ever respond to my calls. I just keep getting new Case Numbers each time I call, tied to my original claim, which is meaningless.

    I purchased an iGen600 Power Station in April of 2021. It worked well for a little over a year and then stopped holding a charge. I called Westinghouse and they replaced it under warranty. In fact, the unit has now been replaced 3 times. They continue to send replacements that won't hold charges. The last one was received last week. I plugged it in immediately and it reached 80% charge in a little over an hour and then stopped charging. This was way too fast. By the following morning, it had discharged completely with no load. I have called Westinghouse for another replacement, and they are now saying it is out of warranty but would consider a replacement when I pointed out that I had received a warranty extension with one of the replacement units last year (I have an email as proof). They are thinking it over and are supposed to contact me by email. If prior experience is a guide, I will have to remind them again to get a response. The last replacement unit received was actually dirty and came in a box that appeared to have done more traveling than a one-time shipment. I suspect they simply sent me someone else's returned unit. Westinghouse refuses to talk about a refund and has directed me back to the retailer (Amazon). So, I have asked for a brand-new replacement unit this time. I am very disappointed in the product and Westinghouse. I have selected one star only because the system required a rating.
