      I get a call every couple of months stating that I owe check n go money. I have paid them off years ago- and still receive phone calls claiming I’m going to court now because of this. I’ve looked into it and there is no court case filed. But every couple of months I have to resubmitted my documents proving I paid. I have called and spoken to multiple reps and they are saying I don’t owe anything. Explain why I keep getting calls properly close this out.

      United debt holding and the phone number you provided is incorrect. They are permanently closed- has been for at least a year or so. I would like my file closed and showed that I do not owe this debt anymore. Because I don’t as I provided I have paid this. Your records show I still have a balance which makes other companies try and scam me. Update the system

      Thank you for the opportunity to address *** ********** concerns regarding her account with Check ‘n Go.

      Our records indicate that *** ******** received a loan from Check ‘n Go on June 16, 2020, which subsequently defaulted and was written off with a balance of $534.74. The loan was sold to ****** **** ******** on October 24, 2016. At that point, Check ‘n Go ceased all collection activity, and responsibility for the debt was transferred to ****** **** ********.

      We understand *** ********** concern regarding the accuracy of her account information and her communication that ****** **** ******** is no longer in business. While we cannot verify the operational status of ****** **** ******** or their successor agencies, we must clarify that Check ‘n Go no longer holds ownership of the debt and has no control over the actions of subsequent purchasers.

      Regarding *** ********** claim that the debt has been paid, she provided documentation from ******** ******** *** ********** as evidence of payment. This indicates that ****** **** ******** sold the debt to another agency, who collected the payment. As such, we recommend that *** ********:

      1.Retain and share the documentation from ******** ******** *** ********** with any parties attempting to collect on this debt.
      2.Request that any agency contacting her validate their claim to the debt to ensure its legitimacy.

      *** ******** has requested that her account with Check ‘n Go be updated to reflect that the debt is paid. While we sympathize with her frustration, we must clarify that Check ‘n Go cannot update or adjust accounts that have been sold to a third party. The balance reflected in our records is historical and accurate as of the date the account was sold in October 2016.

      I have provided this time and time again. They are saying it is from your system because it is not closed properly. I have tried to contact multiple times. And I was told I would get an email- I did not. I was told I would get called. I did not. It’s the constant back and forth. I’m tired of companies contacting me to pay something I’ve paid off. This is due to your company selling my debt. So your company should be each out and get this closed properly as I’ve provided you the documentation. Your suggestion after selling my debt is to handle it myself instead of closing this out properly. Every. Single. Debt. Agency. That had called me has said it’s on YOUR end. When I call your customer service it still shows I have an open file. Nobody is on the same page. It’s frustrating. Why did I pay if this is going to continue for HOW MANY YEARS. you are not solving anything for me by telling me I should ask for this or that or do this. 
      Im tired of receiving phone calls over a debt that has been paid. You’ve gotten your money back but I have yet to have my peace back. It puts me in a panic when this happens. Maybe I should talk to an attorney about emotional distress that this company is causing me for multiple years.

      I dont know what was done but i was contacted by check n go and was told that an account could not be found with my information. I know the debt collector told me that the account was pulled from them by the lender. Also reached out to experian and filed complaint and collection amount was removed from my credit report. That is all i wanted but still very confused how this even happened. Would still like check n go to reach out to me by phone and try to explain.

      Around I would say June or July the payday loan company Check n Go abruptly closed with no notification to its customers. I contact them for several months with no return calls. Finally when I did contact and associate at the ********** St location they said they no longer were involved. I don't know how many were affected. Later I keep receiving this callee who at first would not identify themselves. At the last straw I called the number back it was a company of ********** **********. They were rude and abrupt. I hung up. I called back got a you lady D*****. We talked for a while and she begin to tell me about the debt which started out just being a loan for$575.00. She keep saying interest for the time, and I said how is that when there was a flat loan of 575.00 and the company close on their own with know warning. I have paid in over$547.60 since January 2024 started in January. Also in September some hacked my bank account with a ******* Bank and it had to be placed on hold cause all of my Social Security money's and retirement from the Stat of ****** was being affected. Strutted Settlement was drawing 68.45 each month. I am willing to pay the remainder of the 575.00 but I can't afford any more. Besides that they never sent me paperwork when I agreed to allow them in my account. I can trust people anymore. Please advise what to do. I am not going to pay an astronomically amount for a 500.00 payday loan. Thank you in advance for your help.

      I never recieve an email from Check n Go. I contacted them at a ******** branch and they said they didn't know anything about ****** closures of their store. Next thing I knew ********** ********** was wanting an astronomical amount for a 575.00 loan. I totalled what I have paid so far sine January of 547.00 and I can't afford much more. I have since taken on a health problem with my eyes which with appointments and medication is draining me.

      I currently owe three payments on my loan. I want to pay off my loan early to decrease the amount of interest I would owe, to save me money. In there agreement there is no penalty to pay off the loan early. However, they are using tactics, like not answering their phone so you cannot get the actual payoff amount. Additionally, when you go to log into your account you are only able to make a payment early, there no place to ask for a payoff amount or to pay more than the current payment. Also, there is a button for you to refinance, but no button to payoff the loan. I start calling at around 1:00pm trying to get the payoff amount. It is currently 4:23pm CST time and 24 minutes in and I am still not able to get anyone on their customer service line to get the amount to pay off this loan. This is deceptive marketing of being able to pay off loan early.

      (I still had to pay more interest on the loan due to their business practices of not allowing me to pay off the loan online versus allowing me to refinance the loan.  Additionally their phone system is inadequate to take the number of calls to pay off the loan or talk to anyone in customer service.  I do not believe this is an oversight but indeed a business practice in an attempt to get as much interest from the client as possible.  Had my phone call been replied to same day or been able to pay online, I would have paid a lot less interest.

      I took a loan from check n go and now they are trying to pursue legal action. I am a single mom with zero help and I just lost my job.       I am writing to file a complaint regarding my AXCSSFN/CNGO account (Account #: ******XX, Date Opened: 12/11/2019). There is incorrect information associated with this account that is negatively impacting my credit report.

      I have made timely payments and followed all account guidelines, yet despite my efforts to resolve the issue directly with AXCSSFN/CNGO, the inaccuracies remain. This error is unfairly affecting my credit score, causing financial hardship.

      *** called trying to collect on a pay day loan from 2018 that has been resolved for over 10 years. I worked for **** county court system and my car was broken into and my day planner was stolen that resulted in numerous fraud accounts being opened this being one of them. A police report was filed right after the issue in 2018. *** also contacted my exe of 30 years making thre*** to my exe this time. I have given this story to over four collection companies even giving them police report for the incident. This is not my debt or my loan I was told by transwest credit union to shut my account due to the fraud linked to it. They are stating they want to garnish my wages. This is not accurate and I’ve explained this over the years. I do not have any documentation for this bc it was in 2018

      I took out an installment loan from this business a year ago. Every paycheck they took 163 out. It was a 1375.00 loan. I made consistent payments though I will admit I had missed two this year. However, I paid them both off and got my account up to date. I called to verify this before my last payment and the employee I spoke to over the phone confirmed that I only had one payment left of 163.27. I check my account after paying that August 28th and it now says I owe the full balance of my loan and to call them. It called the hotline and it said I owed around $800 on the loan. It’s outside of business hours so I can’t get this resolved with an employee just yet but I’m making this complaint anyway because even with the two missed payments it would’ve been mathematically impossible for that much interest to accumulate on them before I caught them up. I’ve put it into multiple calculators and have crunched the numbers myself as well to make sure. I’ve seen online that many other people have experienced predatory business practices with this lender and I will be calling in the morning to get this resolved. If it does not get resolved I will be taking legal action.

We completed an investigation into the matter and advise *** ******'s loan was taken on 9/15/2023 in the amount of $1375. The first 5 payments were made on time, but the 6th payment on 12/05/2023 was returned. Regular payments then continued for payments 7- 15. Payment 16 from 4/23/2024 was also returned. Payment 17 was then made on time. Payment 18 from 5/21/2024 was then returned. Payments 19-24 were made on time. On 8/22/2024 *** ****** did pay the 3 returned payments but when each payment was returned it accrued daily interest until paid. The full balance remaining on the loan is $848.48. This balance would need to be paid for the loan to be closed as paid in full.

      Back in late 2016, I took a small loan and waiting for my accident settlement to come in to pay the load off. I paid it entirely off in 2017. Now, I just was contacted that Check n Go currier told me Check n Go is threatening me for non payment and they want me to pay them $3509.58 to settle. I was never contacted by anyone that I owed any money and I moved into a new home 3 years ago and still have never been contacted. I want this removed as I do not owe them anything!! I do not have any of the records as they were thrown away during my move as I did not think they would come back several years later trying to collect from me again. I need help!

      We would like to thank *** ******* for contacting us regarding the collection calls she has been receiving from someone claiming to be associated with Check 'n Go.

      We completed an investigation into
      the matter and can confirm that *** ******* obtained an installment loan on 3/13/2015 in the
      amount of $3,825.00.  Our records indicate that loan defaulted and was sold to ***** Capital
      Management on 8/29/2016 with a balance of $3,509.58.  If *** ******* has any questions or concerns, we would encourage her to contact the Third-Party agency directly at ###-###-####. We have no additional information to offer as we are not the current owner of *** ********* debt and have not contacted her since the date of sale.

      We would like to clarify that although her account is closed in our collection system, her account will always remain in write-off status. This is a matter of Corporate policy. She is always welcome to reapply; however, we are unable to guarantee approval as the determination is made by underwriting.
