      I have been billed for several charges for things I didn't even buy and had to spend several minutes on a phone only to be transferred to another agent. So far the charges were removed but I have had to destroy the credit card 2 different times and just got a new card that I had never used. Sure enough I saw a charge for $34.75 just about a week after getting the card. I called Citi Bank voicing my concern and telling the agent to take the charge off and that I want to close my account only to be transferred to another agent who used high sales selling tactics to get me to not close the account. Pressured 3 times over and still they would not close the account. I want to close the account and do not ever want to do business with Citibank again.

      Made my checking and saving account 2 nights ago within a few hours they flagged my account for fraud after I zelled myself money from my other account and after being on the phone for hours they unblocked my account then a couple hours later when I went to login to take my money off there they blocked my account again saying now I have to wait for my debit card there are no branches near me so thats ***** but as soon as my card comes Im taking my money off and closing that account thats ridiculous

      How can I leave a negative 100 star for this review? One star is more than they will ever earn in a century. I have been trying for A MONTH to simply connect my loan account to my personal banking account. All that has been done is my blood pressure spiking, my now needing therapy to resolve anger issues, because all they have done is transfer me from one brainless buffoon to another, have me give my information over and over and over again, and waste hours of my life trying to get this resolved only to not have it resolved at the very end. How much of my life am I going to continue to waste on this??? An untrained monkey could probably do these customer service morons' job better and for less pay, and even saying that is an insult to monkeys!

      The ** representative is horrible!!!! It will just keep hanging up on you and does not help whatsoever. It rarely will let you speak to a live human to help. Do not use Citibank!!!

      I purchased an airline ticket through a misleading travel agency. I told the travel agent that I dont like dealing with travel agencies, and he assured me that he worked for the airline. He sold me business class seats on every flight from *** to ******* to ******. I tried to cancel the transaction within less than an hour when I found out that he was misleading. I contacted Citi and the charges were disputed pending investigation. Long after I got a response from Citi saying That the tickets was nonrefundable and my account was charged.The scamming travel agency charged me $2034.91. Of which $652 was for taxes and fees. Because the payment was split in two, the $652 was still in dispute. United Air emailed and itinerary that showed business class on all flights to ******. I agreed to end the $652 dispute because when I called COPA airline for the same destination, their flight was a couple hundred dollars more. To my surprise when I was leaving ******* for ******, my boarding pass was for coach not first class/business class. I told the Gate agent that I had a first class ticket and even showed the itinerary that was sent to me. They told me that that itinerary was canceled and re-issued by the ************* for a cheaper seat.I tried to resolve the $652 issue with Citibank and was told there was nothing they could do about it. I indicated that it was a fraudulent transaction, but that was to no avail. Needless to say Im very disappointed in how things were handled. They shouldve reversed the $652 charge.

      Citibank is a huge scam company! They closed account with no explanation! They never gave me notice and they didnt give me my money from my checking or my savings. I had no cash on me and one day I went to use my card and the account was blocked. I was only babbling with them for 4 months.. I did nothing wrong Their branch manager ******** Saint **** threatened me when I asked for my money and threw her hands in my face and started almost screaming at me to the point I felt unsafe and called the police. This branch is located in *******, **********.

      CitiBank has done an exceptionaljob of making sure their Credit Card customers cannot ever speak w/an individule who is well trained & has English as their primary laanguage. The personnel have impressive word tree's to **** thru, but have no capability to help w/anything but the simplest & most irrelevant items. Getting a call returned -forget about it. Getting to actually do what **** say their going to do -laughable. ********* SIMPLY DOESN'T CARE -and even shareholder customer whose moved millions thru ********************** over 30 years is left to fend for themselves--or leave.

      I have been recovering from cancer surgery and was 2 months late on my home payments (which are NOT with Citi and are now current) and have not missed 1 payment on my Citi card, NEVER! But they closed my card because of my late payments on the house. Again never missed 1 card payment, always on time. When I needed you the most you took away me card so I can't buy medicine. Your company is TRASH!!!!

      I hardly write a review, but this experience was a ****** and the reason to write a review is also to warn others.I have two different citi credit cards, citi ****** and citi ****************, the ****** citi was my daily use and other one I hardly used, as a matter of fact there was no balance on the other one.I have always paid off my credit card on time, I usually never carry a balance. last month one of my payment was returned twice and citi closed my account without any notice, and not just that account, they also close my other citi credit card account, the one that is hardly used and had no balance on it, I called their customer service which is absolutely horrible, they were no help, they kept saying wait for letter in the mail which I already knew what it will say. only one time it happened in past 5 yrs and I have been their customer with great payoff record, they shut my cards just like that without any notice and rite before father's day weekend, long story short STAY AWAY from this company, there service, overall perks and their way of handling things is unprofessional and horrible.
