      I have a credit balance of $3800.00 a d Citi bank has been giving me the run around to get that credit balance mailed to me. I would NEVER use Citibank for anything ever again! There is NO customer service!

      Worst credit card I have ever had. Corrupt and make sure not to process payments so that you get charged late fees! Don't get a citi bank card!!

      I had some family emergencies and couldn't pay balance off. I cancelled auto pay for $4600 then made a payment of $2000. They tried to take out both payments. They refused to put a stop on the $4600. If course the $2000 bounced and now I have to figure out how to make up the $2600 over payment so I can pay my mortgage. They were unhelpful, just repeated they would not help. If you can move your balance to a better card I highly recommend not using Citi bank.

      I didnt receive my monthly statement let usual so I called and requested one. Was told no problems give them 24 hours. I was even offered a $100 reward if I spent X amount of money over the next six months. Great! Next thing I know I get an email stating my account was closed! Still no statement in which I needed for other financial reasons as documentation for a *****. This also impacted my credit score as now my debt to available debt ratio changed.

      The absolute worst and embarrass for them. Within a day of opening a count with Citi, they decided to freeze my account for suspicious activit. I said fair and they I forme me that within 3 days it would be resolved. It got resolved in a month and a half. All the while they froze my funds with no explanation given of what the suspicious activity they had in their sights while Im having to borrow money and get my credit dinged for late payments for my account was frozen. No one could help for they didnt have the authority and thrrr was. Someysterious back office where they handled fraud suspicions. It was the most ludicrous asinine predicament to be n with a major bank but the kicker was how no one could figure out what the h*** was going on. I almost thought I was on some hidden camera show. Also their customer call centers are all manned with staff who speak hardly any English and I found very 20 seconds I had to repeatedly ask them to repeat themselves for I couldnt understand what they were saying. Either there was a language barrier or they had no knowledge of policies, protocols and decision making powers. My most recent issue was I deposited through a teller a check written to me from *** insurance cops y who also banks with citi. I had an agent over the phone and viz chat sssure me the funds would be available the business day after the day of deposit so it wouldve been available to me on a Friday. Well, I come to find out they put a hold o. My check for 10 days after assurance upon assurance that they reposition the fund would be available because it was a Citi check. Well it wasnt and I ended up losing a purchase due to the fact that I couldnt leave the doe payment amount for the check was held up for 10 Days even through it was a Citi to Citi check dont expect the branch manager to assist for when I brought up the issue she acts like sh e enter to help but there we motion she could do. Please. People arent d..u.m.b.

      I have a Citibank Exxon Card, In January of 2025 my virtual statements and notice of payment stopped. I repeatedly complained about this situation sending written messages to the website. In March 2025, no statement or notice was sent but a payment was due on March 1st. I realized on March 2nd that I did not receive any notice of payment but I should do my due diligence and check. I paid the account in full like I always do and sent a message that I did not receive any statement or notice of payment so please do not charge me a late fee and interest. They did and refuse to remove it even though I have sent numerous messages over the past 5 months. They are a corrupt corporation and I would assume this is a common practice to build a balance off of Late Fees and Interest so they can later sell the debt to the debt collector industry. It is seem to be a common practice among many questionable credit card companies. They really do not care because they have the power to take a hit on our credit for a debt that is not legit. I do not see how charging these fraudulent fees is even remotely legal if there is no statement sent and payment is made anyway. Citibank to me seems untrustworthy and does not care about their customers at all.

      Hi I have had the most frustrating time dealing with your customer service besides understanding the accent of the representative.I ordered 3 items from Amazon totalling about $2000 with my master card. The first time it got cancelled because of payment issues. I called Citi and they mentioned after a number of OTPs that I was fine and I can reorder the items. I did so and was reassured that everything was fine. 5 min later again the same story, go through the process and again rejection. I am not sure what Citi is trying to achieve by blocking my transactions numerous times with no legit reason. It almost seems that the company doesnt care. Please let know if you can rectify the issue or else I take my business elsewhere. I strongly feel you need to revamp your customer service and your IT systems Hope to hear from you soon.Regards *****

      I am beyond frustrated with this whole company in whole. I was banking with them over 15 years and then I became overdrawn by $8 and they closed all my accounts within two days with no warning. They then wouldnt give me my money that I had sent to the account. I went into the bank in ****** that following day and spoke with the manager and they couldnt give me an answer to what had happened and why they closed my account the way they did. That there policy is only if your account is overdrawn by ***** days to which it wasnt. It was literally two days for $8 I have spoke with many back office staff as well as the manager at the Merced branch many times and everyone gives me different answers. When I had originally spoke to them on 7-17-25 when they closed them all and they said they would reopen within 2-3 business days. That 2-3 business days came and they didnt reopen it. Instead they closed it completely and wont give me any information since my accounts are closed. Tomorrow will be two weeks if this and they still cant tell me where my almost $500 is and when Ill get it back. From this incident I am now late on all my utilities to which Im getting shut off notices, havent been able to buy groceries and Im a single mom of 4 kids with one being special needs. After 13 days I finally got my check and they wouldnt cash it for me. Even tho Ive had direct deposit with them since 2011 with that employer. They are still to this day telling me they dont know where my money is and they cant do anything. I am beyond upset and wanting to take legal action.

      Doesnt even deserve the one star honestly. Got a credit card from Best Buy who goes through Citi bank. I scheduled a payment through their app to be taken on the 16th was never actually taken from my account until the 23rd a WHOLE week later and bounced cuz their was no money in my account cuz I thought they took it out on the day I scheduled. Spent the majority of the last two days on the phone with them trying to have them solve the issue. They wont do anything to rectify the issue and its not their problem. There was zero communication about my payment going through. The customer service is a whole joke in and of itself.

      Citibank is a joke! The phone system constantly disconnects you before you even get anywhere, they dont have a email address anywhere that I can find. But you better still pay them or else theyll tank your credit ratings
