It is not heard that it should take this long for any service call especially for an appliance that is needed.The first time it took weeks for somebody to come. When he finally came he needed a part and it took another few weeks to get it when you can buy it locally. The second time we also waited awhile now this time it is already eight days and still not here. I called a repairman and he was here in a half hour.He told me the part you put in is very very cheap junk. I never had to wait more than a day the most two days.I demand to be refunded the total cost of the warranty plus the $195.00 that cost me to repair. I had nothing from your service.Business Response

Warranty #******* Type **** Purchase date 10/03/19 Divider/slide in part between both doors on the fridge not sliding in properly. Due to malfunction, spring popped out. **** warranty claims it is not a covered part. I had the same issue in February 2020 (claim # *****) which WAS covered by ****. It took abut six months to get it repaired after many calls back and forth. I do not see why it should not be covered this time around. I checked in with 2 GE authorized repair centers, and both said it should be a covered defect.Business Response

Warranty covers manufacturers defects and customer was sent a ********************** term agreement letter that if the issue isn't covered, they will be charged a service call fee. ************** is going to their home for evaluation.

I am rejecting this response because:I have read the response from **** Warranty Service. I did sign the agreement to pay, if the damage is not covered under warranty. A technician has come to evaluate my complaint, and agreed that it is covered under warranty. I was told that a part was ordered on March 22, but have not heard anything since. I checked online, as well as with GE direct, and the part is readily available for shipment. I believe this is a tactic to stall repair. Can you please reopen my complaint with the Better Business Bureau?

June 2022 I reached out for service for my washing machine that was covered under warranty. It took until July 7 2022 do have someone come down and inform me that they need to order parts. After numerous calls they finally came down again with the parts in October and could not fix the washer. Finally on October 20 via email I was told that "In regards to your **************** washer that was evaluated for repair, the unit has been deemed beyond economical repair. In lieu of repair, I can offer you a reimbursement to the amount of $680.00. Reimbursement checks take up to 60 business days to be processed." This is a refiling of complaint #********, against Mack Camera Service. That most recent complaint was filed on January 12, 2023, but I have not yet heard back from them.**** owes me a $400 refund (documents were submitted with the original filing). I have a warranty for my dryer. I filed an online service request January 3rd '23 and have been emailing repeatedly for an update. 1/9 I called and received a call back 1/10 so they could hear the noise coming from the dryer. They said they'd be in touch to schedule. I was asked to email back an agreement and despite repeated emails and voicemails, no one's returning my calls or emails. The warranty expires 2/14 and I'm worried they're ignoring me on purpose. In the 5 years I've had the dryer they have serviced it repeatedly, each time telling me they'll replace it for one that works and they haven't done so. I'm worried to be left without the final service or replacement come next month, when the warranty expires.Business Response

January 10, 2022 I was promised a reimbursement from **** in the amount of $400, in lieu of repair of my ******* dryer. **** warranty told me they would fix my machine. They didnt show up on the date I had on my calendar so i called them and they said they never said they will come. It was a few weeks that I had waited. they offered a reimbursment of 525. The new machine was over 800 and I had to use the laundromat while I waited for them to come. I was told reimbursement checks take up to 60 days to be processed. I sent in the form on 8/8/2022. I have been following up via calling since October. I have sent emails on 12/13/22 and 12/21/22. Hi, I bought an appliance warranty with my refrigerator through Mack Camera Service. My refrigerator broke down. I called them over 2 months ago and all they do is push me off, lead me on to think that someone is calling me back then ignoring calls. They say and do anything to avoid fixing the refrigerator which is obviously why we bought the warranty. Then after ********* 40 calls they send someone who looks at the fridge without even touching it and says that he's not qualified to fix it. They then said someone would call us back and nothing doing. They told me that I should pay and get an estimate and they'll reimburse me. This company will do say and avoid doing what they promised at any cost. They play a very difficult game. When a person's appliance brakes they don't have many days to get it fixed let alone 3 months. Let alone lay out money and then they'll decide when they sent an incapable person to fix a problem that they were fully aware of ahead of time. I'm not the only one who has this complaint against this company. All I need is for them to send someone and fix and pay so that my warranty purchase is not a fraud.
