I bought my car to BMW of Towson to have a coolant leak diagnosed and repaired. I was told that the oil filter housing was cracked and needed to be replaced. When my car was returned to me and I drove it home, I discovered a oil leak that was not diagnosed when I brought the car to them. I called immediately to inform the service rep about the discovery. He told me to call him back the next day as his shift was nearly over. When I attempted to call his direct line my calls went unanswered and to this day, 23 days later, I have yet to hear from them. I called another phone number associated with the company and was told my message would be forwarded to the service rep. After a few more days, I decided to take my vehicle to another certified shop to have the discrepancy addressed and repaired. I needed my car. It was discovered that the service department of BMW of Towson did not install a seal for the new part causing oil to gush out relentlessly from my engine. The cost at BMW of Towson was $3880.00. The shop that eventually fixed the problem charged $2300.00 to fix their error and was completely baffled as to how a technician can be so incompetent. I will contact BMW corporate soon to see if something can be done. I absolutely would stay far away from this particular service center. I was told that they would likely charge labor cost to fix their own error. I couldn't rate a no star so I gave them a 1 star. Terrible Dealership. Should be put out of business.
