            My husband and I spent 2 nights at Sleep Inn in Salisbury, MD at 406 Punkin Court on 11/12/21 and 11/13/21. The first night was pleasant. The second night, however was a traumatizing experience. Guests across the hall from us fought for more than an hour. I called the front desk twice and requested that the hotel staff call the police. I was scared for my life. After the second call and no response to the third floor, I called the police myself. The police responded and the floor became quiet a little after midnight. I lay awake to several hours after that. I heard bumping and banging throughout the night, from about 12:30 am-2:30am. We spoke to the hotel staff the next morning at check out and were given an apology and $50 off our bill. Given the nature of the second night, I expected more from Sleep Inn. I will not be staying at a Sleep Inn again. The protocol that the staff described for these types of situations is unsatisfactory and puts hotel guests at risk.
